08/9/2009 12:49 | 2.5 Mil shares traded so far today showing as sells but looking at the bid offer spread it looks like buys to me and is the largest spike trade in about 12 months. Does any one have level 2? | ch1ck
08/9/2009 12:33 | You can buy at 14.45 and sell at 14.1. Read between the lines. | kajshares
28/8/2009 09:35 | Nice to see the price is rising with out anyone ramping up the share are slagging off other posters | ch1ck
26/8/2009 16:22 | I agree, hopefully todays rise is just for starters. | jonny flame
26/8/2009 13:04 | This looks an excellent recovery story and off the radar at the moment. | wattzy
26/8/2009 09:48 | Market are so positive at the moment with shares moving higher on poor results. People are looking to find the next big mover I saw another one of my shares move 30% yesterday prior to results out tomorrow (SEO) this one I believe will do the same. I saw a long term holder sell out the day before the rise he must be kicking himself, better in than out. Safe trading | ch1ck
26/8/2009 09:22 | Some buys coming in this morning, could be people are recognising the value this share could bring. | thinking
25/8/2009 22:49 | with a nav of 23p per share, increase in prices, carats and a return to profitability this looks like a winner from the recent update | empirestate
12/8/2009 09:25 | TanzaniteOne sees profits return | investinggarden
11/8/2009 12:46 | I see this a very good news and bought quite a few today. I see this as a turning point with a move above 20p quite quickly. I was able to buy at a discount so it seems there are still quit a few shares available altho the buy did push the price higher. Looking for some volume nowto back up the price and I will be happy. | ch1ck
11/8/2009 07:57 | A reasonably positive update in that things are at least heading in the right direction. It's all about survival for now. If things keep improving and they get back to profit in 6m time then there must be significant upside. No mention of the latest cash position, but I guess we will get to know that when the interims are released. I'm holding mine for recovery or bust...hopefully the former. | topvest
11/8/2009 07:34 | op.update: sight sales of USD$2.01m ($7m to-date in 2009), avg. price +19% to $38/carat; $0.6m revenue from 'The Tanzanite Experience' retail outlet to date; margins up; Tsavorite work progressing slowly; hoping to be profitable again by end09 It has been held back under the 50 and 200 MAs for ages, the price declining all the while; scope for this decent-enough news to kick it back into play? A good jump here could break those MAs, but I guess it might have to be more leisurely than that (sigh); still, I'm hoping to see 20p broken before too long (ever hopeful!, though I've only got a tiddler position) | mikehardman
28/7/2009 20:33 | Got all the bid rubbish last year mind, when they needed a vote!! | topvest
28/7/2009 20:32 | Does anyone receive the annual report in the post? I'm in a personalised crest account, but still don't get the annual report here, although I do for every other company I own shares in. Not impressed! | topvest
27/7/2009 21:25 | if it holds above 20p then it's time to get bullish. not before | brando69
27/7/2009 20:46 | shhhhhhhhhhtime :- | sirace
27/7/2009 20:43 | Nice to see this move definitively up. Have we bottomed? Lets hope so! | topvest
27/7/2009 16:04 | This one looks ready to explode on any good news. I'm in at 14.25p. | jonny flame
08/7/2009 22:18 | Nice to see a bit of a bounce today. | topvest
07/7/2009 21:33 | No idea where the bottom is, but we are close. All depends on whether trading stabilises or improves. | topvest
07/7/2009 09:11 | topvest, great post, what do you think they will bottom out at though? I thought 12.5p might have been it a week or so ago and they have fallen past that with very little support by the looks of it! You think these could hit as low as 5p? Someone reckons it's possible on iii! Thanks. | mike_f
06/7/2009 18:47 | It's all very unclear on what is going on. The only reference to funding, not already subject of an RNS, in the accounts that the auditors signed-off a few days back is: "Additional financing The Group's operations may require additional financing to meet future expenditures. It is unlikely that the group may be unsuccessful in obtaining finance. Events subsequent to balance sheet date are set out in note 25." H2 of last year was a disaster as they only achieved US$6m of sales at a gross loss of US$0.7m. The FY08 accounts are littered with non-cash and one-off costs though; Depreciation US$2.2m Stock w/d US$2.6m Forex loss US$1.8m Directors' emoluments and consulting fees US$3.4m That's all of the loss!! Looks like they paid a fortune fending off the bid by Gemfields and on directors' termination payments of US$0.9m. With the benefit of hindsight, not accepting could have cost everyone a great deal of money here. On a brighter note, with significant cost cutting, the company may be able to survive on the cash it has left provided auction sales are not too bad. There is definitely value here, provided they can keep things afloat. The fact the auditors signed off the accounts with little mention of pending cash constraints implies things are not too sticky (yet!) and there may be a distressed seller, but who knows with this company. Whatever happens, shareholders will be last to hear the real story!! | topvest |
