You always get a boom in gold,art and stamps during a recession

Noticed Ambrian took TNZ off as one of its top picks (It was one of their top picks for 2007)

Only reason really was its relative outperformance in July - they had a target price of 136p, with the share price hitting 122.5p

No other reason other than this outperformance and have replaced with AVM - another which looks good after its recent drop sub 120p.

stocks like this one, which the market struggles to value by virtue of lack of peers, are also hard hit in times of strife...

i guess a lot of folk will be putting off plans to buy their wife a tanzanite ring for christmas

I'm back into TNZ today at 90p. Sold last week at 120 so it is a little more tempting for me to make sure i have a stake in this small gem! I think that the risk is heavily on the upside for this stock. Reduced administrative costs and heavier sales will result in healthy profits in results in the Autumn. By then the stock will be on a swift rise.

Also bought RDSB and TEP. Both fantastic companies. RDSB more a trading play that I constantly play
