In my opinion Tandem could do with improving their range of ebikes. The range is a bit tired & dated.Whilst it is a competitive market better quality bikes are selling best, people like Ribble, the long established direct selling bike firm have a much better product for not that much more.Big buyers of ebikes are older more affluent people. In general however bikes will have more difficult year as there is a fair amount of stock around but again it seems to be the higher price point that is doing best.I agree escooters are probably a bit of a commodity product but with the advantage of a dealer network & their buying knowledge I see no reason why Tandem should not take their share.

The hire scooters litter the streets and in the suburbs are never where they are needed. Locals would happily get rid of the hire scooters in exchange for privately owned ones.
When the UK makes scooters legal then all the EU suppliers will turn their attention to the UK. Initial legislation my boost TND shares but the market will be flooded.

Mrf...It will happen but just taking longer than expected. I have not heard any negatives from the trials and let’s face it there are quite a few already in general circulation supposedly being used on private land.

Is it good news on the import tax levies being removed for bikes?

Well at least they're at historic cost, which indicates growth in share price achieved. It's the schemes that grant nil-cost options that get my goat.

Yeah - lots of small trades, and it's payday, so probably simply divis being reinvested. It could be a good day for STM tomorrow on the same basis.

There are no meaningful trades so no to MBO.

Mr Bragg and a few on here own 20 odd % at least.

The shares are still massively undervalued.
On a p/e ratio for the current year they might look just ok but the NAV remains well above market cap and lots of property in the valuation.
I expect a big hike to NAV in the next 12 months maybe as much as 3/5 million.

Yes 2022 has been a dog of a year but the corner has been turned and TND is ready to exploit any opportunities that come along.
2023 number will look much better as costs are being trimmed all over the business.

Directors adding show confidence and i know they want more if they could get them.

They will not be getting mine

Do not think an MBO would be possible as so many individual investors have holdings. A trade buyer or US fund may see Tandem as a quite tasty addition though

Martin Fisher and Peter Kimberley have been building up their holdings..

As a result of the transaction described above, Mr. Fisher's interest has increased to 17,500 Ordinary Shares, representing approximately 0.3% of the Company's issued ordinary share capital. (31/10)

I wonder if Jonathan will be next...

Tandem Group plc (AIM: TND), designers, developers and distributors of sports, leisure and mobility products, is pleased to announce that Jonathan Crookall will join the Board as Non-Executive Director with effect from 20 October 2022.

The shares were just far too cheap at way under net asset value.

The business will look much leaner in 2023 at the expense of some margin this year as we clear a few parcels of slower moving lines.

The retail shop should give us some almost free retail sales, and once we have cut back on external storage ,and the costs associated with the Northants site, we will be lean and mean.

Was a target given for this years sales and profit?
