06/11/2021 13:31 | Will open at 600-630, as it closed on Friday. Ceteris parabus, of course... | cwa1
06/11/2021 13:22 | I doubt that - it will be a mistake or something. It was timed at 10am or thereabouts. | harrogate
06/11/2021 13:12 | Thanks for the clarification. If so,for what it's worth.. this may be the price on Monday, or at least a more indicative one, considering it is from the last negotiation. | gabrielsant
06/11/2021 10:27 | There is a delayed trade reported at that time for 10,000 shares at that price So it is the last trade hence the price on some reporting systems. | harrogate

12/10/2021 06:38 | Good news: Now have two sources of research cf zilch previously Bad news: I was hoping to add a cheeky 10k shares at 530p but now missed that opportunity | bwm2
12/10/2021 06:26 | Just read the article. I thought the narrative regarding the warehouses useful but it was limited to explaining the impact on cash, property loans and net asset value. Operating efficiencies were mentioned but ST could have gone further and had a stab at the cost savings to be had. Importantly, the skewed nature of the earnings to the second half, last year's H2 earnings and the 14% inc in H1 sales continuing into the H2 was missed completely In summary, good on narrative but poor on originality ie own forecasts Hence B- | bwm2
11/10/2021 22:57 | My mums funeral started today At 2 pm Therefore I missed the spike and have only just read the reasons. Nothing new there but can I pick up on a couple of points. I don’t think there are many pessimists holding the shares. However there are are a few holders sitting on big profits. There was also a suggestion that the next news is in February 22. I think not . We have a brokers note out with a very low 2021 result. Therefore I see the next announcement as follows. The company expects 2021 numbers to materially exceed market forecasts. That could be in December or mid January. Tiger | castleford tiger
11/10/2021 16:31 | M&A action just announced today as well... | davidosh
11/10/2021 16:04 | Tanners, agree market timing on each individual share is the toughest call. Like you I think that it is better to do the research for the long term hold.Macro issues are much easier to set your portfolio up for. | our haven
11/10/2021 16:04 | tanners I basically agree and when I saw the share price rise wondered if a bid or agreed sale was in the offing. However, I just see no sense whatsover in ST tipping TND at this time. There is a 4 month hiatus until the next TS and I just cannot see this rise being maintained in the light of all the global issues that could affect TND... ...but hopefully won't. | shanklin
11/10/2021 16:02 | It has been zig zagging between £5.50 and £6.20 for the past three months but I would not say there are a large number of pessimists. I think just a number of investors that are cautious with all the supply issues and delivery times for the long order book. That said it is a very long order book so it will be a plus for next year as competitors are in the same boat and the consumer still wants the products. | davidosh
11/10/2021 15:55 | Shanklin, that amused me as I did likewise when it last hit £6, immediately regretted it, but then felt vindicated when it fell back, and was deliberating over buying back when this latest jump occurred. It's the mental stress of doing that as to why the vast majority of the time I just buy and hold (unless something dramatically changes). Trading and trying to judge spikes/dips is complete luck/guesswork in my experience. | tanners
11/10/2021 15:53 | I may be wrong and I certainly think TND is worth way more than current levels but with: - China manufacturing problems caused by energy shortages, and - supply chain issues I suspect there will be continued (IMO unwarranted) selling, and the possibility to buy back cheaper at some point in the next few months. Wish I had realised sooner that today's share price move was due to ST leading his IC followers up the garden path, and I could have sold what I did at above £6.20. Still have 80% of my TND shares. | shanklin
11/10/2021 15:48 | Why not? If you have this timing abilities.. ;) Just don't count on me :) | gabrielsant
11/10/2021 15:48 | Congratulations on your profit Shanklin, but I am happy to hold at these levels for the longer term as there is value here IMO | our haven
11/10/2021 15:32 | Given the number of pessimists holding TND, just can't see today's move holding right through to the next update in Feb-22. Have sold a few at above £6 and will happily buy them back when TND returns to its current equilibrium price nearer to £5.50. | shanklin
11/10/2021 15:29 | It is just going towards a more rational price. As I said, why should someone ignore all the good news and leave the money on the ground? It is still undervalued, so IMHO it has a lot to run yet. Thank you for the link Zho, A lot of good insights!! | gabrielsant
11/10/2021 15:14 | Target price 775p according to ST research | cwa1 |
