07/1/2016 09:15 | Mr Shaun retail is pretty dire in most sectors. on line certainly doing well and I still think TND should have a offering direct to the public. Clearly a different product but they now have the platform via their new companies. the falling cost prices will help. Gala tents are still growing and that's same sector as their last purchase I remain confident of them hitting targets 2 million this year and EPS of 60p in the current 2016 year. tiger | castleford tiger
07/1/2016 06:56 | Last 6 months in the bike trade has not been rosy Overall sales probably a min down 10% To many retail outlets Online causing problems for bricks and mortar shops To many wholesalers To many brands Excessive supply of goods Quite a few shops closing BBC ramping up something they know little about | mrshaungcm

04/1/2016 18:17 | davidosh............ How do you see current numbers? How do you see a full year with both companies being added. Does my EPS of 60p pre exc look far out? I cannot see a huge increase in Divi as we have some debt to pay off but the company looks far too cheap. Simon bragg clearly feels the same. tiger | castleford tiger
03/1/2016 15:19 | Yes, it would appear that they did move to larger premises from this review they left here on September last year... | mrx9000
03/1/2016 15:05 | No problem. I visited before Tandem bought them hence can only comment on what I saw at the time, which were mainly mobility scooters and accessories. The golf and fitness side of the business came later I believe. If my memory serves me right they also did mobility servicing etc and looking at the map they may have moved from one place on the industrial estate to where they are now, as I don't remember them being at the present location on the map. I know the area well and it is not a million miles away, hence can do another visit and see what has changed etc. My better half used to work on the same industrial estate. | mrx9000

01/1/2016 09:08 | Starwars toys have sold well in general so let's hope Tandem have gained. Pound has been weak but energy and raw material costs should start to help as the year goes on. | amt
31/12/2015 17:48 | I think I probably beat you to it and will be taking a few more. Nothing personal and a happy new year to all Tandem holders. | davidosh
31/12/2015 17:33 | bit of stock about that will be mine soon. tiger | castleford tiger
16/12/2015 14:30 | that is for sure. Costs keep falling ...........has to be good news tiger | castleford tiger
15/12/2015 07:26 | Starwars looks like being a blockbuster as expected. | amt
29/10/2015 18:32 | David Think you are right. They are not MM but have been on the bid for ages. Not sure whats holding the price down , but Simon must have a long term game plan. With costs falling my 60p EPS may well be broken next year. I remain a buyer but don't want to have a declarable stake. tiger | castleford tiger
29/10/2015 12:39 | I assume that the Simon Bragg who has become a 7% shareholder is the head of Stifel in the UK so should certainly know what he is investing in. | davidosh
29/10/2015 12:15 | They're hiring in head office hxxp://www.bikebiz.c | rndm355
26/10/2015 23:33 | Simon Bragg increases his stake again to over 7% Get in touch please Tiger | castleford tiger
09/10/2015 18:47 | we made 170k first half 2014 and finished the year at 1.2 million. pro rider added maybe 1/3rd of a year so 100k to the above. Current year first half 700k and I think second half should be 1.4 million ( possibly as high as 1.6) This will have the full year of pro rider in. Bring on 2016 when we have to add in another 800k ( without any cost savings) So 2.9 to 3.1 million is my forecast for next full year. Bring into the equation reductions in cost prices and lower fuel and possible synergies then who knows where we may get to. With 4.78 million shares issued I estimate EPS 60/65p RANGE . Clearly valuing this business at 3x earnings is wrong. The market will catch up but the shares are hard to buy and the market makers need to push up the price to flush out some stock. Anyone see it differently? Tiger | castleford tiger
09/10/2015 14:01 | Great day buying more stock............hap Tiger | castleford tiger
09/10/2015 07:58 | Yes a couple of good years with EPS of 60p would reduce debt and enable the market to give the share a decent rating over time. I am very optimistic about prospects especially if gross margin increases in the light of lower energy and raw material costs perhaps feeding through in a year or two. | amt
09/10/2015 07:48 | Tiger yes PE on acquisition looks good, but it also seems ESC grew faster than expected. My only criticism would be over ESC's forecasting whichlooks ropey, but that isn't too difficult to fix. | 18bt
08/10/2015 16:22 | Today tells me TND have underpaid for the company . paying 3.15 million and it makes 800k. That's 4 x earnings 1.8 million in assets as well. Looks to me as if TND will make 60p EPS in a full yaer. Massive undervaluation Tiger | castleford tiger
03/10/2015 02:19 | A mention for Tandem on this weeks Small Cap radio show.... | davidosh
02/10/2015 21:14 | Cost of sales should reduce on the basis of greatly reduced commodity prices. Steel less than half and aluminium a third lower than recent trends. USD vs Pound fairly stable, a 10% reduction would increase gross profit by about 3 million over a year. | amt
29/9/2015 23:54 | Good results. If similar trend to recent times then second half is usually stronger than first half. So perhaps heading for EPS over 40 p for the year so on that basis pe of approx 4. | amt |
