29/6/2010 08:42 | Yangou You must, of course, follow your stop loss regime strictly, but mine isn't not hit yet - so I'm still here. It's worth holding for the divi, though I appreciate capital value is more important. ed: it does appear to be dropping out of the rising channel - but so is the FTSE Cheers, John | one for the money
28/6/2010 18:48 | Stop loss hit in Newsletter so time to sell. But still believe this is a good company and long term buy | yangou
22/6/2010 19:29 | any specific reason why Victoria French left?? | maltatrader
07/5/2010 09:30 | Positive statement this morning and yield now over 9% due to recent pullback. Good one for income seekers imho. May add a few later depending on what happens when US opens after yesterday's debacle. | mikealig
14/4/2010 08:29 | Early XD fall by 10p as expected after recent buying - may recover during the day of course. All IMHO Cheers John | one for the money
13/4/2010 11:28 | fair bit of buying today ahead of going ex-div tomorrow Wednesday 14th April. usually see a bit of selling on day before ex-div so looking good for tomorrow. nice 8.75p final dividend paid 14th May. also, price often does not fall by as much as the dividend on ex-div day. chart also looking good, established uptrend, price comfortably above all short term moving averages and long term moving average. heading back northwards of 200 pence in the short to medium term imho. | copyright
06/4/2010 19:18 | Yes, and the Olympics are fast approaching! | topvest
06/4/2010 12:32 | Big jump in construction activity in March: | aleman
25/3/2010 17:57 | Looks like a breakout, being recognised at last! | nellie1973
19/3/2010 16:30 | Shares of T Clarke (CTO.L) rise 7.7 percent to a 52-week high after the British electrical contractor accompanies full-year results with the acquisition of D&S Engineering, a privately held facilities management business, for 11.6 million pounds. Arbuthnot raises its price target for the stock to 190 pence from 160 pence and says the acquisition gives T Clarke cross-selling opportunities. "The dividend yield represents a key investment attraction, underpinned by the group's good cash generation and robust balance sheet," Arbuthnot analyst David Brockton adds in a note. Panmure Gordon says in a note: "(T Clarke's) specialisation in electrical contracting gives it core skills that would also be an attractive bolt-on for a larger player." 190 per share would suit me for a start!!! | nellie1973
19/3/2010 08:56 | yes and tasty dividend too albeit no longer well covered | alter ego
19/3/2010 08:46 | Super business; still largely unrecognised by P/Is. Cheap as chips. | philjeans
19/3/2010 08:05 | Nice report, very interesting aquisition bought at a cheap price. Still over £20m cash in bank and revenues set to increase this year. Someone very keen to buy blocks of 2000. Oh and the spread is still cack...... | nellie1973
18/3/2010 18:50 | Still the amount of buying suggests good results. Fingers crossed.. I think that good results may force a breakout. | nellie1973
18/3/2010 15:42 | Yes, but the spread's dreadful. 144.3 to sell and 150 to buy (2000). Doesn't really encourage trading. | mikealig
18/3/2010 15:31 | Nice jump today | pallett
15/3/2010 15:56 | Nice to see the shares firmish ahead of results on Friday which we have already been told should be slightly ahead of earlier expectations. Should see 150p resistence turn to support which creates a base to break the 5-year downtrend soon, with a bit of luck. | aleman
08/3/2010 09:05 | Olympics work is happening already, but I don't know when money starts to flow into the coffers; it depends on the contracts. Cheers John | one for the money
07/3/2010 19:01 | Must be getting close to the Olympics work starting to come on stream? | topvest
07/3/2010 07:57 | Maybe - IMHO could hit the top of the channel at 160, but might break through. Good long-term bet though. Cheers John | one for the money
05/3/2010 16:49 | mmm, next leg up around the corner I fear!! | nellie1973
01/2/2010 16:33 | With results slightly ahead of expectations i'm not surprised :-) | hywel
01/2/2010 16:25 | Well someone's started buying... | beaufort1
29/1/2010 17:15 | Interesting chart. Recently bounced off rising channel support and a minor resistance broken today but long term (5-year-old!) down-channel resistance still intact around 156p and falling. Run up to results should be interesting, perhaps with a few buyers along the way for the final dividend. Breaking 150p could take some doing but could lead to a nice jump if managed. | aleman |
