I hope so and a break and hold of 160 would lead me to think positive numbers could follow. Need to see more signs of debt control and growth / growth prospects to get SYNT then to circa 200.

200p is below the low at the height of covid panic! Anything less than that is a whole lot better "decent" value.

Also note that declared shorts over 0.5% fell to zero when citadel reduced on 8 Feb. A big buy signal in my book.

My target price is 300p (minimum) where it was sat comfortably before covid

Very nice to read a positive write up and buy recommendation.
I think 200 isn't unrealistic in 23 if the business does what it plans 👍🏻

Shares in this chemicals business have tumbled recently as demand for nitrile, a synthetic rubber used in surgical gloves, has ebbed along with the pandemic. Investors are especially concerned about elevated debt levels, but with the shares now on a 36% discount to book value the sell-off appears “overdone̶1;. The board wants to streamline the sprawling business, with a stronger focus on units commanding higher margins. The resulting disposals should yield more than £600m in cash, greatly alleviating the debt burden. On just eight times forecast earnings, the shares offer “decent value”.

Yeah it's a similar story for much of what I hold today. Not all though unfortunately but in the long term it's all about buying opportunities.

Yeah it's ticking along ok and kind of going under the radar which I like.
I keep adding here and there on dip days and hope we can push to 200 at some point this year.

I agree that most of the "bad news" is priced in and while I expect it to fall today I think long term it will play out and 200 could be seen later this year.
