Anyone else received the dividend today? In my account but they said they had cancelled it so not sure why it has been paid.

If that's true then they will wait a bit longer for circa £4 then.

I thought it had to be higher than any price of the last 12 months?

any bid would surely be based on the average prices over a 3 year period , so 550 + 350 + 100 = £3.33

Surely they will cross the threshold for making a bid if they buy any more?

That's positive as long as they pay double where we are right now if they take the lot!!

Will need to be a bit more aggressive in adding on the dips as seen yesterday just in case and get my average down.

Took a few at 112 to help with the average.
Said I would buy more on a dip so hopefully that was it and we can challenge 120 next week 🤞🏻

I don't think there will be much further momentum in this for now, although I would be delighted if there were: the most likely explanation is the fall in interest rate expectations, for with quite a chunk of refinancing due in 2023/2024, the risks of Synthomer being lumbered with high coupon long dated bonds while borrowing rates began to fall in late 2024 would be seen as lessening, and so there will be a small upwards rerating. Hope to be proved wrong....
