Eminently sensible. Debt is only getting more expensive, as long as the business is well run the dividends will return in 2024, and possibly earlier if debt is down and banks are agreeable.

However management has been poor on this: the dividend should never have been allowed to go ex in the first place, and the over-stocking of PPE should hae been watched for and observed months ago.

So dividend payments have been suspened including the one this November as part of a reorganisation

"The Group's key priority is to return leverage to within its target range of
1-2X and management will outline the initiatives to do that. The Company is in
discussions with its banks to ensure that there is sufficient headroom for its
covenants going forward. As part of the waiver process, the Board has
suspended dividend payments until the end of 2023, including the payment that
is due this November."

It's even worse if you invest in closed pension schemes like Phoenix as they literally make their money when pensioners die as that releases the excess capital.

My thoughts will be with the families who will lose or see loved ones being seriously ill. I own shares here but don't want people to have to get ill or worse to make my investment pay.

Covid hospitalisations double in a week
Likely to see a surge in demand for vaccines, PPE AND Gloves.
Synthomer should benefit again.
Thoughts?

only thing of note is that they reduced this years ebitda from 328m to 280m meaning ebitda of 110m for second half and suggested asset disposals or an equity raise could be on the cards to repair the balance sheet. This was from Numis.

There was a write up in the Times yesterday and I wondered if anyone had seen that and if so did it say anything else of note.

LOL, token 10k purchase from the CFO, and a clutch of board members coming out of the woodwork together with an orchestrated token purchase to prop up the share price.

Market not impressed is it.

Will pick my moments but maybe circa a quid was the bottom??
Good luck to all holders 👍🏻
