23/7/2020 15:31 | Bignads, thx for the good information re; IP protection. It all makes sense since AZ would not have licensed the COPD indication without good broad patent support or trade secrets. Looks ringfenced well in patent protected valuable markets! I noticed the immediate somewhat desperate and pathetic andymuchkin notes re; your post. He is obviously looking to undermine to steal shares at a lower price - troll. Some folks are getting off the lift early since this could easily double again in the next month IMO hold the shares in your bottom draw for a bit longer in my opinion... | elsol

23/7/2020 15:01 | In my view, this is a shoe-in in terms of efficacy and emergency approval is almost guaranteed. My only concern to date has been the extent to which this treatment is protected by international patents and IP protection. Given that Interferon-Beta is widely available, my fear had been it was the nebuliser that was the unique protection for the company. However, it would appear from synairgen's patent filings ( that it is the concept of delivering interferon-Beta to the lower lungs that is the patented aspect of the technology which gives broad IP protection to SGN. In light of this, I think the company is a slam-dunk winner. | bignads
23/7/2020 14:58 | Love this bit.....Eddie Imishue, 55, is a Mental Health Care Support Worker with Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust. On April 18, he was admitted to the BRI with Covid-19.He was prescribed the drug SNG001 via nebuliser to stop his symptoms worsening and prevent the need for being placed on ventilation.Mr Imishue said: "I was very breathless and had a persistent cough. I also felt very lethargic. When I tested positive for Covid-19, I was asked by Dr Saralaya if I was willing to take part in the treatment trial and I said yes."The treatment had a profound positive effect on me and my symptoms improved so that I was able to go home, where I continued with the treatment."The staff kept regular checks on me, asking how I was getting along and I was able to report that I was feeling much better. I took the treatment for 14 days."I am happy to say that I have now been able to return to work. I feel very fortunate I was able to take part in the trial." | bmwman3
