Dragons den

"I burn 4.5m a year re cashburn. We were broke and made a placing. It all hinges on readouts soon and we beat the big guns. If we dont, cash dries up fairly fast..

We value our company at 50 million and want 25 millon investment for 50%. Our record is basically loss upon loss etc, and as insiders, we have put near zero in ourselves"

Excellent interview. Lots of interest in manufacture and if it works will likely expand very quickly. Add in as a preventitive....

I'll keep adding, whatever the shorter is saying.

What im trying to say is, if you read globally, the threads for example on all these type companies, the hope and expectation is same, based on whatever stage and uniqueness each has

Well, thats a whole lot of companies, and it would be very lucky if one takes down the titans on this

The odds against are astronomical in any of them. Ive looked for a decent etf in case one small in the niche hit the jackpot, to spread risk but to be honest, the weightings just killed the basket even if occured

If you win here. Well done. It was against all possible odds

Gilead different

Not really a gamble. Plenty of product if that one turned out flat. They were not banking on it per se

So the likes of Gilead, Merck and co, will get that boost on any news really. Seen as a conservative bet for big reward

Not boom or bust

The size of the potential market increases! Of course it makes perfect sense because the first part of the COPD trial in patients with no infection showed their white blood cells started to express anti viral proteins! So essentially they were primed and ready to fight a viral infection in the lungs.

I say, this paper suggests that INFA might actually aid prevention.

That IFN dysregulation represents a key determinant of COVID-19 pathogenesis highlights its potential for therapeutic intervention. Prophylactic administration of IFNs, which elicits a pre-existing antiviral state in target cells, may block viral infection at the very early stage. Daily IFNα nasal drops along with standard personal protective equipment (PPE) were shown to protect at-risk health-care workers from COVID-19 over 28 days without noticeable adverse effects

Yes you are correct it is 109 out of 120. I was confused by the protocol on clinical trials.gov which says the number of patients was going to be 130. Of course that number included the 10 in the first phase of the trial as I discussed above. Doh!
