"The results of the trial are expected by the end of June.

Synairgen is already talking to suppliers about producing the drug as soon as the trial has finished.

It is aiming to distribute it later this year if the tests prove it is beneficial.

Just watched the clip on BBC world news in Thailand too. Made it clear results would be in June but does look promising that the word is getting out there! Let's see if there is an positive reaction on the share price today. More importantly let's hope there is a definite positive benefit to the patients being given SNG's product which has taken years to develop.

SYNAIRGEN is not a charity and yes they will have a corporate responsibility to provide the drug worldwide if that is what is needed....The same happened for HIV drugs which originally no one could affordSNG will make money but their margins will be considerably reduced

As an investor you dream of getting any mention let alone a segment on the BBC and Panorama tomorrow night. I always try and look at things with cautious optimism but in my humble opinion I think that Richard must be confident of a positive result. The piece I believe added that the drug had been trialled in COPD and Asthma patients and was seen to help with lung function.

For those who didn't see the BBC news item here are some snippets:

"A promising experimental medicine developed by researchers here in the UK recently started clinical trials. Our correspondent was invited to the University of Southampton Hospital where the trial is taking place."

"The nebulizer uses a protein called Interferon Beta which is part of our body's first line of defence against viruses. Professor Tom Wilkinson is heading up the trials."

"The Southampton based biotech company that has developed this treatment has already shown it can stimulate an immune response in patients with other lung diseases."

"Richard Marsden thinks it could save lives by helping our bodies fight the virus. He'll only know if it does when he gets the results in June."

Hi Guys, I have invested a bit in SNG and holding it more than a month .Been following both advfn&LSE and the information shared are really great . Thank you for your efforts on both the BB . I am not able to register on LSE unfortunately .

BBC NOW - Good 5 minutes coverage on synairgen only & was enlightening. Hopefully people will get the message that this could work... That should give a boost to the share price tomorrow - sleepless night with expectation for some of us I suspect 😏
