I would like to know more about your scoop on the discussions with Evercore. Can you tell us the evidence for this interaction?

Nobby Thanks for that. I thought they had access due to Covid19 special allowance, I was wrong. I also head from Richard: Consillium handle PR. Media interest waxes and wanes. We need to be patient and make huge noise the minute we get good data. The company can't push something they can't talk about. I like the "huge noise" comment. As for investors we can continue to drive awareness of the drug and also the new at home drug trials.

FFS the trial is blinded full stop. So even if they saw an effect on markers in the sputum they wouldn't know if the patient got drug or not. Anyway I suspect one operator will see the data and no-one else. If anything happens along the lines of what you are suggesting, the integrity of the trial is destroyed. It just doesn't happen. End of!

Sorry, I shouldn't swear but as you can probably tell I am getting a little exasperated!

Ok so trial agree, but did you ask him about the early indicators that are tested? Ie what was used in the COPD trial that is due to finish?

Morning all,

Nobby, my point about mentioning the hypoxia and Ordinal scale is that doctors and nurses will treat the numbers sometimes more than the patient (so will be given oxygen even if not breathless) and as a result, there will be a blurring of the 'edges' between points 3 and 4 (anyway as it is an RCT then that should be ironed out when the data analysed)

And yes, NO ONE (from janitor to Principal Investigator) will know who is getting what
It is totally Blind

Right I can finally put to bed the speculation the company knows the results as they go along and that has influenced their decision to do the home study. Richard has confirmed to me that the trial is double blind until the end and no-one knows the data until then.

So please let's stop once and for all the endless speculation about the company knowing the data as the trial proceeds. It just simply isn't true!

Procedures will either not be followed or shortened IMO

Anything below 55 tomorrow and I’m in for more, this will build over the next few weeks and more news due during that period. In a way the background positioning of the bigger pockets is giving us a better chance to buy at cheaper levels. Once that is sorted this will find its level.

If positive results at this phase how would it progress? To pivotal phase 3 larger trial or bypass and straight into delivery given the current situation?
