In the Finncap broker note, dated 31 Mar 20, they valued SNG at £1.20 right now and £3.60 on a successful result WITHOUT any Global supply deal by a Major and also without a huge stockpiling deal as alluded to in the note citing the current worldwide Tamiflu stockpiling worth in excess of USD $3 billion.

So although, obviously, a bad result would see a big drop, a positive result would be worth around £3.60 immediately and between £5-£10 on a Global supply deal and worldwide stockpiling agreement similar to Tamiflu.

This offers huge upside in itself and,for me, the risk to the downside has been hugely mitigated by SNG raising £4m to manufacture SNG001,recently announcing they ARE ALREADY manufacturing SNG001 and the recent upgrade by NIHR to a 'Public Health Emergency" trial.

There has also been a huge body of evidence recently that "inhaled interferon beta", (SNG001) is very effective against Covid-19 including clinical trials, not just anecdotal hearsay. The Chinese government only recommend two covid-19 treatments, a HIV drug and "inhaled interferon".

The chance of a successful trial outcome has increased a large amount in favour of a positive result in recent weeks and the upside now vastly outweighs the downside imho.

They were probably very aware that a placing at 35p might upset the apple cart, in some peoples eyes, so must have had a very good reason to ensure they had additional product available.
