Mms toying to see if people get confused on the news. It will have to be let go soon. Trust this is bigger than anything we could have expected today. A barely flat blue day will deffo be a blue day today. Wait till twitter etc do the rounds. No views when I discovered it on google earlier so yet to get out there or people digesting

I liked that too..manufacturing has already begun for applicators. I also liked the "critical" comment. They're confident of success in my view and testing is just a stepping stone to regulatory approval. I'm chuffed to have bought more this morning.

Came across as well balanced but quite confident, I liked the home use angle of approach and getting things ready in place.

Eta could have said our mcap will 20 bag if the drug successfully passes muster though lol

Very odd interview - presented as if the interviewer did not know Richard and VV.

Better and reassuring than any RNS we could expect at this stage. The fact he is taking about home use options is fantastic at this stage

Salbutamol as said above is a reliever inhaler not a preventer. So may be it was part of the mix but it would be good to know. Be interested in Nobby’s comments on this.

Salbutamol does affect the lungs anything like SNG001. And I cannot see how a generic asthma drug would cause such a turnaround. TBF his recovery may have happened without nebuliser. But still sounds promising

Subutamol is an instant relief Asthma drug. I take it myself. It temporarily opens up the airways. I would be very surprised that it sorts out Covid situation alone.

Wasn’t SNG-001 developed from a asthma drug for COPD conditions? Not sure how many approved asthma/COPD related nebuliser treatments have been approved for COVID-19 treatment, in fact I only know of one.

I have not seen the article, was the patient Covid? Subutamol is an asthma drug, very common. I'd be surprised if they relied on just that? I think Subutamol/ ventolin would have been tried in the many first cases in China already. If it was effective there would be more hype about them by now. This needs some more digging into I think.

Agree toffeeman but he would know if he was on the trial. Did he confirm that? Anyway it does sound very promising.

NO NO NO!

A DB trial means that the patient agrees to participating in the trial but does not know what 'treatment' they will receive.

Yes but he would surely know if he was on the trial I would have thought?

Interesting comments on it being salbutamol in the nebuliser.
