Nobby, I expect that you are watching C4 now as they discuss the virus with the experts? I'm sure that you could contribute.

You can go down hill very quickly with this virus. This article explains why and it is also why I have bought a Pulse Oximeter.

Did that head medic Chris Whitty actually say that there is only a very remote chance of a vaccine and TREATMENT arriving before the end of the year, as quoted, per the Guardian.

Apologies Nobby wasn't intending to scare anyone unduly. Only that my friend is not one prone to exaggeration etc and has been quite taken aback by it and says she's just dealing with it practically rather than actually mentally processing it as yet.

Was just talking to a friend who is Manager of a care home today. Bit shocking actually. They've had several deaths there in last 3 weeks. Including one who went from fine to dead in 45 minutes and the death was so horrific it's giving her nightmares apparently.

Ok. That is expensive. Sorry he needs it. My mum 94 stuck in a nursing home 400 miles away. Had 2 Corona deaths. Been locked down for 4 weeks. Confined to rooms for 3 weeks. The GP doesn't fancy visiting. If they go off their food he puts her straight on end of life pathway. Noone gets to go to hospital would you believe it. And this is 60 grand a year.

METRO article clearly points to SNG being part of the Goverment trials starting tommorow. And it looks like they have been given cash from the Goverment.

GlennRCharles. 24/7 care is expensive. My son has it and it costs about £2250/week.

Being in care home, both working and being cared, you are second class. No doctor, locked down, no escape to hospital, no tests, not enough protection, no visitors. I wonder whether 24/7 care at home might be considered a better option in future? Its carnage
