We are in unprecedented times it may be that as I suggested we have a number of people in the current DBT that are privy to the data and on that basis which you would imagine as been positive it as been added to the open label trail as mentioned.
Ihave to admit it would seem extraordinary but we are in unprecedented times so possible it could be that with it been price sensitive it had been left out of the headline statements released I’d not know

Synairgen’s other current activities with COVID-19
Since the outbreak of COVID-19, Synairgen has been approached by, and is in discussion with, a number of other medical, scientific, and Governmental bodies (both in the UK, US and internationally) seeking to investigate novel therapeutics in this area.

Clues are on the Synairgen website

Jey I subscribe to the Gates Fountain news so anything I see regarding research that’s relevant to SNG I’ll post a link to this board.

What's important is what is reported in the press... raising the trials public profile...not what's said or not said on the website

Synairgen - a potential cure for Covid 19? - SNG

The Americans are already receptive. :o)

_______

Bill Gates Foundation funds WHO with tens of $ Billions.

Bill Gates Foundation collaborates with the FDA for public health and have an MOU with the FDA.

Bill Gates refers in an interview a few days ago to the focus on the top three or four solutions to COV19.

SNG is highlighted by WHO as one of the four possible solutions.

Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg also join forces to combat COV19

SNG is already mixing with the right crowd where tens of £ Billions are available for investment in this area of their focus, COV19, and where £ Billionaire influencers already have affiliations with the relevant authorities . :o)

From the trial Web site

This study aims to compare several different treatments that may be useful for patients with COVID-19. These treatments have been recommended for testing by the expert panel that advises the Chief Medical Officer in England. Some are tablets and some are injections. Although these treatments show promise, nobody knows if any of them will turn out to be more effective in helping patients recover than the usual standard of care at your hospital (which all patients will receive).

The treatments, which may be given in addition to the usual care at your hospital, are: Lopinavir-Ritonavir (commonly used to treat HIV); inhaled Interferon (usually given by injection to treat multiple sclerosis, hepatitis C, and some blood disorders); dexamethasone (a type of steroid, which is used in a range of conditions typically to reduce inflammation); or hydroxychloroquine (a treatment for malaria). At present, we don’t know whether any of these are effective in treating COVID-19. However, the side-effects are well-known from other uses and your doctor will be able to monitor you appropriately.

This’ll be a good test to see just how news-driven the share price really is.
Either via an RNS or through people reading bulletin boards.

I must admit I would laugh if the price opened at say 55-56 and all those sellers had to pay a premium to get back in. Incidentally I am not saying that will happen.....it just would be funny if it did!

The trial homepage states;

Inhaled interferon-beta1a (an antiviral drug; not currently in use in this trial)

Possible SNG could be included upon positive pilot study results?
