As expected, unfortunately nothing changes, a great shame especially when we see how well their competitors are doing

My advice to some posters before responding would be to research the Technology and benefits over existing packaging.
If you buy a bag of carrots or any VEG in a plastic bag bring it home leave it in that bag it would go off in twice the time as if you take it out and leave in vegetable rack.
If you place that same Veg in a SYM bag it will last just as long as out of the bag and let’s not forget the time from source to shelf in the bag for every hour it’s less shelf life in the current bags.
Just one example apply to fresh bread from a bakery or prepackaged from a manufacturer increase shelf life is massive for large manufacturers and retailers

I thought they were up for a contract with Bimbo - the largest packaged bread supplier in the US. The longer shelf life would be a great benefit given that it spends part of that time in transit. Personally I don't buy packaged bread because of the manufacturing processes but plenty of people do.

@bbmsionlypostafter if I had the choice of packaging that kept my bread fresh for 5 days or 8 days I'd choose 8 days. Bread is about the only thing that ever gets wasted in my house. "If" it became the go to packaging that would be a huge income stream.

bbmsionlypostafter I expect you probably would possibly quite a few before you felt better after eating such bread. The whole point economically and environmentally is if the bread can stay on the shelf longer in a fresh state then less is discarded and less needs to be produced so more money for the bread company

Yes it's not the outside of the packing it's the surface of the inside. With reduced bacterial, fungus and viral load the bread etc does not age so fast.

Heeley3 benefit of bread packaging i believe is that it will extend freshness and life of product so big plus for producer.

Why would Bread Packaging be a game changer? there is plenty of perfectly functional bread packaging in the world. Do you buy a loaf from Tesco and worry about the viral load on it? I don't. Nor do I see people wearing gloves when removing it from the shelf to their basket.

If you seriously believed that anti bac/viral technology was needed on such packaging then the world be in a serious situation. Which I do not think it is.

So...I don't get it. And perhaps packaging manufacturers don't either.

It may have utility in a super clean hospital setting but, --- there are plenty of other safety additives for polymers available on the market and have been for years.

The problem as been the lack of execution having shown great promise but with the Trio of news in particular the FDA news and the long term data from the recent published study which strongly suggests a positive outcome to To EU case.
I’m of the opinion that the next quarter will see a major rerate and I expect it to be north but let’s see

I would love to invest further, I think last week's announcement was incredibly positive, surely the bread packaging product alone is worth huge sums if it is a game changer in that sector? My problem is the lack of director buying, if the announcements were as positive as I (and a few of you on here) am thinking then surely we'd be seeing buying RNSs?

Any views on that please?

Whatever comes out of the EU, and we’ve seen all too clearly recently that scientific realism and moral judgements are not characteristics of the outfit, the lead weight of false info is removed from d2w and now the sky is the limit.

On the other hand ... how many false dawns have we seen so far?

Anyone like to Hazard a guess at the potential damages if successful in the case against the Eu.
From the clear and substantiated evidence it’s looking extremely likely symphony should win the case
