23/12/2020 15:09 | Bad am not trying to make it 3 in a row. As this year has not been too good with ASH stuffing me over, but worse is OCT who have fisted me good and proper - if you want to see vitriol then go over there. I see there is lots of promise in SYM but not under Laurier. The same thing happened with Dr Drew in IQE - trouble is that he is now a NED so he is still steering the ship. I suppose its my own fault in not doing the due diligence and seeing how good these guys are - or in the aforementioned - not. Ah well that's the AIM casino eh. Keep safe and lets see what the New Year brings - bet its not a divvi for us though! PS on the EU legal stuff - it could drag on for years and the only ones making any money will be the lawyers. Keeps safe | swiss paul
23/12/2020 12:42 | swiss paul "does a Leopard change its spots?" Same old with this company who talk a good game but are unable to deliver. There is no IP on d2w are you sure they have a patent at all? | robertnash2

23/12/2020 12:14 | Gateway - I want my money to work hard for me and Laurier and his cohorts don't seem to be delivering. Considering they have what is been stated as world (and COVID) beating IP then they have not made any use of it. Look what has happened over the long term, over 18 years (nice chart thanks). What? Back to where they are and Laurier has had a nice life from this. I keep the pressure on as I don't want the wide eyed walking in thinking this is the best thing since sliced bread. Also I want the board to notice someone is challenging them - as their NEDS don't seem to be Go to their website and have a look and convince me that the following are true in this:hxxps://www.sym Yes my money and my choice. | swiss paul

22/12/2020 18:13 | "The Commission then made the extraordinary decision on 8 May 2019 to terminate ECHA's investigation and the EU proceeded to impose a ban effective from 3 July 2021, citing microplastics as a reason. In doing so, they ignored the advice of ECHA, their own scientific experts - never before has an ECHA investigation been circumvented by legislation."- will we get notified regarding the dates of the courts dates in effect? As in a rough date when we will expect to hear timelines for a verdict... | 46maxon
22/12/2020 11:00 | Mr Market continuing to be un-happy here - Falling on a mainly blue day - Thoughts as to why? For starters - possibly over valued? Too complex area for the average investor to underdtand? Too much uncertainty over plastics? Confusion between bio-degradeable and the fact the EU is banning oxo-biodegradable - So any thoughts as to a correct price and value - | pugugly
21/12/2020 14:30 | I do agree that this company fails badly on its publicity side. I suppose this court case win or lose will at least get some notice. The only thing that matters however is hard figures that is what everyone is waiting for, hopefully soon. | 1longshorts
21/12/2020 13:25 | PR Coys usually useless and expensive - Unless and until the ultimate purchasers of plastic products - i.e. The general public understand about all the different types of plastic and they are all clearly marked as to whether oxo-biodegradable, bio-degradable, bio-based, recyclable, compostable (domestic) or only industrially compostable etc etc then useless - imo | pugugly
21/12/2020 07:39 | Good to see them finally suing the EU. Fully support them in this action, hope they go for lots of compensation. THE COURT CASE Symphony's CEO, Michael Laurier said: "The Board has not taken this action lightly, but the way the EU has behaved and the resultant confusion and damage to our business is unacceptable. We will not accept restraint of trade without due process, non-discrimination, proportionality, and scientific justification. The EU fails to acknowledge that the billions of persistent microplastics in the open environment, including the oceans, are actually coming from the fragmentation of ordinary and bio-based plastics which have not been upgraded with oxo-BIOdegradable technology." Symphony's Deputy Chairman, Michael Stephen, a former Barrister and MP, said "Symphony has decided to commence an action in the General Court of the EU for compensation pursuant to Article 340 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the EU by reason of the adverse effect on its business caused by the reference to "oxodegradable" in Article 5 of the Directive. Although we cannot dictate the timetable, the facts of the legislative process are clear and we do not expect the case to be protracted, as it will essentially be a point of law for the court to decide. Most of the costs of preparing the case have already been paid." | bad gateway
