Biden’s Administration said it would invest $400 billion over ten years in clean energy.
Big increases in Chinese & US car production forecast for 2021.

Can only be good for industrial metal prices.

thelong,

nah prefer 78 myself

the real beauty with slp is that it takes a while to break during the day, doesnt fly at the open so you have a chance to buy during day, knowing last nights commods prices, namely rh

only slight downside is the spread on occasion.....

Platinum has just taken out 1 year high, I believe it could have a couple of hundred dollar run from here, to say 1,350, over the next 6 months. I really am not an expert on Platinum but it increasingly gets a mention with regard to Environmental moves.

Def not me Mr Stephens, I tend to predict short term price moves in slp based on what I see.

If price sluggish on open will be adding

Yes Martin did you not predict last month that Rhodium would reach $2000?
Platinum is heading for $1,200 and Palladium $2,500

Rhodium at an all time high apparently - US $17800

I'd buy more but the apparent much easier spread of this new SA corona virus variant puts me off, and which could so easily have a significant effect on production figures, people here maybe concentrating on prices far more than actual output. I think management said as much in the last quarterly report. Hope I'm wrong for they should be coining it now.

Maybe the Market understands this, but then I have a holding in TSG, where there has always been, and so far, unsubstantiated concerns about the mining jurisdiction that it operates in. IMO, they should also have a higher rating, but mining shares are a bit more sober these days compared with some techs, which is good if you don't want the increased opportunity of losing your proverbial shirt !

Also doubtful anything will be officially released on the dividend until the audited half year results towards the end of Feb

Kenny are you discounting that in the 1st half SLP will deliver the same as the entire financial year ending June 2020. The PGM basket is moving towards $4000 gross which will increase q3 & q4 profits. The current forward pe as per my earlier post is 2.9 at the present share price. The target price of the brokers and pundits will soon be revised nearer to £1.50. There is one caveat. How will the government deal with covid?
