With a crazy ride up into the late 60s in just 2 weeks for a 50/60% ride a healthy retrace is to be expected. No biggie.

Your not getting it.

CHINA WILL NOT BE "PICKING UP" unless you mean the bodies!!?

This has not even started to warm up yet.

THIS IS LONG TERM.

No point in selling at this price, even with a gain. It will come back another day. They will still need Palladium and Rhodium when the car production in China picks-up again. There will be a V shape in the graph heading back-up once everything settles. If buyers are able to obtain PGMs at a lower price today, then they will be stockpiling it while they can.

Arcadian, thanks for the tip about filtering, hadn't realised it was as easy as clicking on the arrow next to Chimers then clicking on filter.

What I find strange is the majority of trades are buys
Some really strange small trades for selling in the hundreds of £’s
The market is down about 4%
So I’m sticking
We’ll bounce back and beyond

I guess the main risk is car production/purchases on PGM demand but presumably the PGM basket might act as a leading indicator for this (once any PGM supply deficit is cleared)?

Coronavirus may well have a significant economic impact but there are no signs of this being priced into PGM yet, SLP's basket is still up 63% in ZAR this year.

When markets go down people like to take profits where they have them, so I'm not surprised to see some people selling, maybe hitting some stops too, but let's not pretend it is a logical reaction given the lack of reaction in PGM so far.

Gold as well as Palladium has recently hit an all time high in £s.
Wonder if all the other precious metals will follow?!

No, I posted last week or 2 (memory) and stated I had sold out for a nice profit.

Not spreading any fear and doom, that has yet to reach these shores(it will)

Giving good solid sage advice, which you being a novice and a bag holder you will doubtless ignore.

Really? So you dont have a vested interest in SLP? Spreading fear and doom on the forums of small obscure companies is just a hobby is it?

I'm not shoring this I think its a good company.
I am shorting the incoming and already started world economic collapse.

I can't decide if you're a genius or a fool. Imagine shorting a PGM miner when PGM prices are at record highs. Short sighted gamble.
