27/7/2017 20:26 | The mesh market is set to grow will post on that tomorrow Re microline below ......see this Check it out and think Surgical to buy NHS supplier in "natural next step" Published: 16:55 Thursday 27 July 2017 Keyhol Nigel Rogers, execut The business employs 19 staff in Berkshire, including a sales team of 12. Surgical announced a placin The proceeds will be used to fund the acquisition, alongside existing cash resources and a new £2.5m debt facility with Yorkshire Bank. Surgical will pay a total of £7.5m in cash to Mr Power and Mr Marsh, as well as issuing them shares worth £1.875m, approximately 8 per cent of the enlarged company. The Surgical board has also invested in the fundraising Mr Rogers said: “There are clear and obvious benefits to margins and earnings as we add a highly profitable and cash generative business to the group, but this also provides us with access to an experienced direct sales force and the new products distributed by Elemental will widen the range of products on offer to surgeons in the NHS and UK private hospitals. “All acquisitions have some integration risks attached to them, but having worked with the Elemental team and having such a high level of inter-dependency we expect this will ease the integration process.” Elemental has been the distributor for SI branded products since its inception in 2007. It also handles UK distribution of Microline Surgical's complementary range of laparoscopic instruments, bariatric products on behalf of GI Dynamics, hernia repair products for Cousin Biotech and Peters Surgical, and breast reconstructio Over the last year the combined businesses would have produced annual sales of around £12m and a pre-tax profit of around £1.4m. Eric Burns, direct With the substantial resources of a PLC owner behind it we think there’s good scope for Elemental to significantly increase its product portfolio as well as bringing a direct sales force to Surgical from day one.” In March, Surgical announced an 11 per cent increase in annual sales to £6.1m,& clues Microline Surgical 50 Dunham Road, Suite 1500 Beverly, MA 01915 USA | buywell3
27/7/2017 15:35 | MR04 lodged 26th July 2017. What has been bought? A sales office! It is to me a whole lot of money and satisfied again by millions of new share issue. There is on the site of EH Ltd quite a number references to ‘mesh’ hopefully mesh will have a better press than of late. While I am not a fan of cut and paste from Bloomberg, I have taken a couple of cuts from the EH Ltd site below. 1. Saving the NHS £10 MILLION and championing British manufactured products The last financial year saw many UK NHS hospitals switching from expensive American manufactured, fully disposable laparoscopic port systems to Elemental’s British made, high quality Resposable® alternatives. Last year our customers benefitted from significant savings and in total we estimate that this represents a cost saving to the NHS of £10 MILLION. Our high quality and cost effective medical devices can reduce the costs per procedure by up to two thirds. The Resposable® range is designed and manufactured in Leeds and is widely used in NHS hospitals. The reusable elements are coupled with disposables to provide an effective system that has the cost benefits of a reusable instrument with the clinical effectiveness of a disposable product. Surgical Innovations are also recognised as playing an important part in supporting the British economy and currently employ 11 apprentices in Leeds, Yorkshire. 27/7/2017 14:40 | Can you now understand why SUN wanted to buy Elemental Healthcare ? ''Elemental Healthcare Wins Multiple Awardees Contract for Purchasing Specialist Mesh Feb 5th 2016 Elemental Healthcare Ltd. won a multiple awardees contract award from NHS Supply Chain acting as agent for NHS Business Services Authority for the purchase of specialist mesh'' Now who do we know that makes specialist mesh ? and there's more to come dyor .................. it pays | buywell3
27/7/2017 14:22 | Otherwise you would have seen this ''Elemental Healthcare Ltd Wins GBP 8.5 Million Multiple Awardees Contract for Skin and Wound Closure Products Oct 16 15 Elemental Healthcare Ltd. won a GBP 8.5 million (excluding VAT) multiple awardees contract award from NHS Wales Procurement Services for skin and wound closure products.'' Now I wonder who SUN knows or deals with that makes those ? | buywell3
27/7/2017 13:51 | Check out the website Very good .... works well and catches 'Googles' on MIS searches of various key words Look at the products and suppliers Several of them are now being supplied by EH to the NHS see if you can find out which ones “While some might mistakenly consider value investing a mechanical tool for identifying bargains, it is actually a comprehensive investment philosophy that emphasizes the need to perform in-depth fundamental analysis, pursue long-term investment results, limit risk, and resist crowd psychology.” “While it might seem that anyone can be a value investor, the essential characteristics of this type of investor-patience, discipline, and risk aversion-may well be genetically determined.” which I guess rules you out gbh2 dyor | buywell3
27/7/2017 13:42 | Gbh2 I hear what your saying, however we all know the risks with minnows, hopefully this deal will add some shareholder value within the next 24 months, good luck all | bashor
27/7/2017 13:19 | BASH, They've never been slow with issuing new shares and during the 19 years I've held they've always added some to their own accounts whilst leaving PIs in the cold. One of my concerns has been the possibility that GETZ would one day organise a MBO and leave us high and dry. | gbh2
27/7/2017 13:03 | IMO Getz Bros are so BIG They could buy SUN with their tea club petty cash and still have change for lunch | buywell3
27/7/2017 12:21 | So that was quick, 780m shares in issue as of Tuesday | bashor
27/7/2017 11:29 | Going to be an interesting set of figures and supporting announcement, hopefully with some indication of the combined value of the two companies. | gbh2
27/7/2017 11:06 | Should make the interim results and accompanying commentary a lot more interesting | jmf69
27/7/2017 11:04 | Hello buywell3, One has taken to a certain joy and can be grateful we don’t have to pay for our lecturers, lectures by the word. If we did the figure could be greater than the increase in the number SUN shares in issue over the last 10 years. Difficult to imagine! I know. A few weeks have passed since the increase of shares surely this latest will merit several hundred million new shares distribution to directors and newly invented contributors to the well being of SUN and it’s p high PI’s. As ever regards VZ | van zandt

27/7/2017 09:34 | Stand by to get elucidated I should charge for this ....... but since its SUN shining today read on ''The flag and pennant patterns are two continuation patterns that closely resemble each other, differing only in their shape during the pattern's consolidation period. This is the reason the terms flag and pennant are often used interchangeably. A flag is a rectangular shape, while the pennant looks more like a triangle. These two patterns are formed when there is a sharp price movement followed by generally sideways price movement, which is the flag or pennant. The pattern is complete when there is a price breakout in the same direction of the initial sharp price movement. The following move will see a similarly sharp move in the same direction as the prior sharp move. The complete move of the chart pattern - from the first sharp move to the last sharp move - is referred to as the flag pole. The flag or pennant is considered to be flying at half-mast, as the distance of the initial price movement is thought to be roughly equal to the proceeding price move. The reason these patterns form is that after a large price movement, the market consolidates, or pauses, before resuming the initial trend. '' For further elucidation look at the long term (BIG) share chart inj the header WE have a BIG PENNANT in progress Can you see the pole ? Can anyone tell me how big it is in pennies terms ? No Read on The Pennant The pennant forms what looks like a symmetrical triangle, where the support and resistance trendlines converge towards each other. The pennant pattern does not need to follow the same rules found in triangles, where they should test each support or resistance line several times. Also, the direction of the pennant is not as important as it is in the flag; however, the pennant is generally flat. Figure 2: The Pennant General Ideas While the construct of the pause in the trend is different for the flag and pennant, the attributes of the chart patterns themselves are similar. It is vital that the price movement prior to the flag or pennant be a strong, sharp move. Typically, these patterns take less time to form during downtrends than in uptrends. In terms of pattern length, they are generally short-term patterns lasting one to three weeks, but can be formed over longer periods. The volume, as with most breakout signals, should be seen as strong during the breakout to confirm the signal. Upon breakout, the initial price objective is equal to the distance of the prior move added to the breakout point I used to be a lecturer | buywell3
27/7/2017 09:28 | The chart is holding up nicely Which is good for all SUN worshipers But if you think you are going to get burnt I stand by ready with my SUN cream Where does this guy get them from ? | buywell3
