When a CEO starts suggesting shorters are driving the share price (down) you should always be alarmed especially when that is patently not the case. There is no borrow on this stock and the total short position appears to be less than 0.2% of its issued share capital! If shorters really were causing the share price to fall sharply the chairman and CEO would take advantage of that to buy shares not to dispose of them as they have done. To sell shares and blame the global shorting conspiracy – and often me in person- for the stock price falling is the hallmark of a prize rogue.
