Don’t like Neymar personally, but if he has 148 mln followers on social media, he might be another Beckham, but more global. And I assume this company has stores or franchises in Latin America, so it may appeal.

People will flood back to stores, the youth of today do not worry about coronavirus, and town centres are a social experience, we see that recently. As soon as the sun shines people are out and about, it is built into the fabric of people, online might be growing but the city centres will always draw people.

With the high street being decimated, how many (mainly men's brands) quality retailers will be left with bricks and a strong online presence?

The middle aged are now the supports of this brand and have money to spend, as less of them will be without jobs, and they are also tend to be in the higher income bracket.

So, even if it slips a little the recovery will imo be very strong but good luck but I see this as a buy at around these levels.

Great cash position and bearing in mind all the issues having been thrown at the team, they have done a grand job. Oversold and as soon as shops start opening again and people travel - this will bounce.

Just look at the travel bookings from pent up demand from May onwards.

Their stores are like emporiums rammed to the gunnels, that might be a legacy from previous management and the company needs to rid of that stock overhang. However it needs fine tuning and the stores that do not cut the mustard need closing asap. Online may have been slightly weak due to above, older stock, etc., but also because this being a lifestyle brand people might need to feel and try the garment on.

Disappointing, e-sales up 13% - was expecting better
As people say, they need to reduce number of physical stores, especially poor performing ones. But, who knows, after Lockdown is eased, people may flood back into stores again, as a "new " shopping experience!!

High street will reopen again in a couple of months, so now is the time to really address the future.

Clear progress on brand reset. In our view, Superdry has made demonstrable progress in its brand reset, including: 1) the return to a design-led customer-segmented range in AW20, 2) successful H1 social marketing campaigns that have seen record levels of engagement and robust active customer growth, 3) a substantial coup with the Neymar Jr brand partnership, 4) a growing focus on sustainability (38% of AW20 revenue), 5) and the addition of further key hires (COO Silvana Bonello joins Mar-21). While the financial impacts have been obscured by store closures, there have been glimpses, including the marked improvement in revenue run-rate seen at the back end of Q2 following the AW20 launch.

He needs to take it private again, and sort its issues out properly, if he is so convinced about its future. Can afford to do that with backing!
