He's taken you clowns for mugs and has effectively taken overall control of Superdry without having to make a formal Offer or even pay a premium to get control

It's you SDRY shareholders that have been screwed over.

I will be buying in more....so waiting for any big dips down :)))

Current business value of £8.7m against share pricing and issue. So there is no recognition of its assets (stock, IP etc) and sales pipeline. This is incomprehensively undervalued now it’s got a lifeline to survive.

I bought i-spire many years back just before de list for over 1p......
I sold them all whilst being de-listed for 6p
It's all about matching background buyers to what the seller wants behind the scenes whilst de-listed.
Easy Money!!!
Don't listen to those that have no idea about de-listing etc..... They are all here to make you sell out on the cheap and miss out on the gains about to take place.... I rate the new chap on board.....Bodes very well for anyone buying in at today's share price

Could you give an example of one such UK company and how you disposed of it? Through your normal broker at normal dealing costs?

It is not an issue at all to sell shares once de-listed
I have already been involved in companies that have de-listed and have made up to 500% on them......Any way, each to their own.

How does a "matched bargain facility" work in practice?

It's intended the matched bargain facility will be through JP Jenkins. As FACTSand FIGURES says, there has to be a willing counterparty. You leave a limit order and wait for a buyer to come along. Take a look at the unlisted companies JP Jenkins deal and the number of trade reports. There's not a lot of liquidity.



Will you be able to trade through your normal broker? Are they signed up to deal with Jenkins? If not, how will you extract the shares from your nominee account and what are the costs involved?

Has anyone any experience of doing this?

Here's something for all the Long & Wrong Superdry shareholders to think about.



When the shares cease trading on the London Stock Exchange, shareholders will struggle to get rid of them.

All this nonsense about SDRY shares being traded on a "matched bargain" basis, is nonsense.

For someone to sell, you still need a willing buyer. it's dead money.

VERY HIGH RISK THAT IS ONLY SUITABLE FOR GAMBLERS & DUNKERTON

Just because the company survives longer doesn't mean it's a great investment for ordinary shareholders.

JD will now have majority control. If he intends to inject more money into the company will that be through the issue of significantly more shares? What can minority PIs do to prevent such further dilution? Small holders can get forced out by a consolidation.

Still, I don't suppose many of you seriously want to hold at close on 11 July and hope to sell at a profit before then to a greater fool!

Here's question for the knowledgeable ?if some company is shorting the stock. Share price is around 9 p now and goes upto 30 p at the time of delisting. What price will shorters have to pay to close their short at the time of delisting or even if they have to close at all?If the short closing price be 30p after delisting then I think a loose loose situation for shortersAny thoughts much appreciated

Dafydd Moore departs Halfords to join troubled clothing retailer Superdry as Director Global Technology


Dafydd Moore has been appointed Director Global Technology at Superdry.

He joins from Halfords where he served as Group Director IT Strategy and Architecture (CTO).

Moore has also worked at Dyson (holding the role of Global Head of IT Strategy, Architecture and Innovation) and Waitrose (IT Communications and Engagement Manager).
