The news from Red this morning of a POC for awhole new family of Gram-ve antibiotics means our product is only worth a quarter of what it was yesterday . Our mcap of 90m needing funded for 2 products one niche one weapon of last resort and no cancer buster looks out of line with their 40m with recent 10m funding for 7 POCs and a new family of antibiotics. ONE OR BOTH HAVE BIG ADJUSTMENTS COMING..DYOR GLA

sorry to read that about pension,,,I put a ruler across the peaks yesterday,and my fear happened,we settled at todays start,....and the usual sell after the peak started,,it'll be the same with the Nasdac ,,they settled in a line on the peaks,just lets see them at 2.pm...bahhh,always the gamblers spoiling the party,,
They could have all bought again,and see the rise again on a squeeze,,not sell off and start the rot..

I would not mind if there was a placement at these levels, even at £1.20. After all we were looking at the possibility of one well below £1 until these events occurred in the last week. Unless, of course, there is a stonking deal already in the wings, now would be a good time to strike, IMO !

Profit taking, we all saw it drop from 135 to 92 last time. A lot will be getting out to get back in at £1.

Yes some. I took a brief look at the announcement earlier
There is a big need for a new class in Gram negative infection treatment. Now there are many drugs out there e.g. the Amino glycosides but they are a pretty toxic class I.e. Nephrotoxicity and deafness
So, interesting but efficacy and toxicity testing will take years and will pose potential problems. I would just watch for now

Playing the long game (or not so long) I note that one analyst says SRPT could be worth $30bn if it roles out to other amenable exons (50-60% of total population). What might that value us at?

I can't help but feel for those folk at Biomarin. What must they be thinking now?

Quite possible after the last week (and especially Wainwright note, SRPT news and the fast track) that they could raise $50m at around today's closing price, without too much difficulty. Very different picture to when we were at 92p some days ago!

The value of the priority review in amongst the fast tracks other benefits, is considerable (if they get approval that is) however the moving of the goal posts by the FDA is remarkable and does open the possibility of approval (with ongoing confirmatory trials) in 2017/18 IMO. Not gold standard but we should have 40+ boys in the trial and IF it shows some effectiveness, the patient pressure will force the FDA's hands.

On RDZ (and we should get the latest results soon?) I suspect we will keep a decent % of the rights in return for funding the phase 3. I'd be relatively happy with that, although I still would like to see some sort of upfront, it is 'less'of an issue if the share price keeps going!
