14/9/2016 11:09 | The american BB's certainly see Summit as very stale. I didn't listen to yesterday's presentation but was not thrilled with the incredibly dull manner that last weeks conference call presented. At the beginning of the session, Glyn said "Richard Pye will try to do his best but he has a dreadful cold". Isn't there a common view that cold's are "caught" when under stress? Sounded like a heavy dose of flu to me :-( Edit : What IS going on? | hugus maximus
14/9/2016 07:43 | waterloo01 I agree with you on that front. They really should promote the potential financial gains that all our money and their work should produce. I think Summit is now quite stale on the investor front. This can't continue, we need a higher share price, at least so current holders can exit without loss! and possible new investors can see a financial reason for investing. | hyper al
14/9/2016 07:21 | Q&A would have been interesting, but the presentation is one we have seen a few times, even they seem a bit bored by it. Don't get why they don't have a less scientific presentation and one that is more aimed at investors. Not a single mention of the potential market size in either indication nor competitor valuations or deals. Basically not much the investor community can get that exited by. | waterloo01
13/9/2016 20:08 | Heard nothing that will move the share price Wednesday more of the waiting game.Questions section was cut off. Edit: I felt that there was no real energy in the presentation maybe Glyn is showing the pressure he must now be under. | chrisatrdg
13/9/2016 20:01 | Not world shattering then!! And the constant hubbub in the background very annoying. | algernon2
13/9/2016 19:26 | Glyn did say to the last caller on the Q and A that "tickets are like gold dust" and it would be well worth her while to be there. So I am expecting some news! 4 minutes to go.Bated breath and fingers crossed.. | algernon2
13/9/2016 19:16 | Hi All Waiting for the webcast for 7.30 this evening but will we learn any more than last weeks conference call - I hope so.Looking forward to peoples comments latter this evening.Regards Chris | chrisatrdg
13/9/2016 16:31 | Webcast this eve. (2.30 NY time) link from summit website. | waterloo01
12/9/2016 12:11 | This seems like a good move - I have always been critical of our PR but getting this out to the DMD community should spread awareness surely? | poseidon2
09/9/2016 14:58 | Waterloo , tend to agree. He needs to deliver this time, until clear we are not raising funds through placement the share price is at best going to stand still but more than likely keep drifting down and I fear to a very low level the longer the outcome is unknown. That said a deal and some exciting news re October conference and could be looking at a much more positive picture. It is certainly appears to be approaching crunch time when shareholders will decide on how much trust and confidence they have in the management. | clarkey26
09/9/2016 14:58 | Confidence is very poor .. currently the NASDAQ share price is the lowest it's ever been. | hugus maximus
09/9/2016 14:42 | p.s. 3 years ago next week the share price was approaching 20p (old money) - £4 (todays valuation) | hugus maximus
09/9/2016 14:37 | Unless something's recently gone completely pear shaped, I continue to retain the view that Glyn must have a deal plan being hatching in the background that's simply taking longer than anticipated to come through ... perhaps with more than one party - government money? etc Otherwise such a late and incredibly vulnerable placement price wise would surely make his position as CEO very difficult personally? But then I remember thinking Tony Blair MUST know something we didn't, when he and Bush took us to to war with Iraq! It's seems unimaginable that there is no alternative and that all we can look forward to is a placement. Having just heard yesterday's conference call, I got the impression 11th hour negotiations must be underway .. even if this is not from a very great position of strength. My stake is sitting at an average paper value of 60% of what I payed, and I'd also really like to see something significant happen to the share price before the 3rd Quarter of 2017! If 3 years ago one were allowed to glimpse the level of success Summit has had with the science to date, the resulting share price of 4.75p (old money), would have been deemed utterly unimaginable! | hugus maximus
09/9/2016 12:44 | Naturally I hope for the best but expect the worse! Glyn is almost always confident. I'd like to see that translated into the share price and real evidence of a worthy deal. | waterloo01
09/9/2016 10:41 | Hi Clarkey26 - I also picked up on Glyn's throw away comment 'all I can say is it will be well worth you being there' he also did something similar at the AGM & we then had the DMD update which was good. Here is hoping. | chrisatrdg
09/9/2016 09:46 | Hi Waterloo Just listened to call, whilst finance director was sticking to brief re financing and including equity issue as an option, Glyn was talking only partnerships and non-profit or Government grants (or combination) and made one comment to a question of timing to say 'just have to wait until a deal is done for announcement', he also responded to a DMD question re any guidance on content of presentation at World Muscle Society conference at start of October by saying 'announcement will be made with detail/ data nearer the time but all I can say is it will be well worth you being there'. He seemed not so cautious in his words but for me needs to deliver as got to be careful building expectations. | clarkey26
09/9/2016 08:21 | Haven't managed to listen to the call but have picked up on others comments. Not sure how or when they will do a cash call, but must be on the cards. Have to say if they don't/can't do a decent deal on Ridin'azole, it does rather suggest the larger shareholders were right in holding back senior pay deals, but until they announce, we just don't know but the longer it goes on the less likely a decent deal IMO | waterloo01
09/9/2016 08:07 | From the outlook statement "The additional data recently reported underline the commercial opportunity for ridinilazole, and the Company's preference is to partner with a third-party collaborator on the development and commercialisation of the product candidate." Now if I was the third party wouldn't you just wait until the money ran out an offer Peanuts because the longer they take to find a partner the weaker their position becomes | football

08/9/2016 18:43 | Hyper Al, most sipp providers wouldn't take a civil service pension. What did you invest in to lose that much? | sorrento06 |
