Are BMS still playing around in the background or did they wander off years ago?

Minimum I'd accept would be £4 as that equates back to the 20p peak we saw about 3 years ago - but then a premium on that would be a welcome bonus

Interesting times. Nothing damp with this Squib. Wainwright note rather well timed, followed by US traders buying in and the SRPT news (including today when they raised $300m at a premium and were 4/5 times over subscribed.

What next? Placing? RDZ news? Take over?

We've updated with a map of our current clinical trial sites in the UK in PhaseOut DMD #Duchenne

luminoso, I doubt that he knows any more than we do, now that he is not associated with the company.

Just a thought. Mellon's tweet is not the tweet of a man looking to get cheap placement shares. Good sign, IMO.

The big boys would be crazy not to buy out SUMM at these bombed out levels.

They have lots of cash but need new drugs.

SUMM has two new drugs but needs cash.

It would be cheap for Sarepta to buy us out with the dolar being what it is. But don't give us Sarepta shares !!!!

No. 10 with a long, long way to go, IMO
I would not disagree with some of the long term values suggested above
I could even see Sarepta making an opportunistic offer as insurance

I have re-tweeted back to Jim Mellon as follows:

I would say current shareholders incl. myself would be looking for much more than 3 pounds & C-Diff deal yet to come .

Edit: However I would be 166.75% up & plus £86k subject to CGT if it was £3 - I wonder if JM would accept that?

Not sure what freemoney is disagreeing with there re mellon's comment. IF there was an offer pre Phase 2 results, I guess £3 plus might be enough to tempt the main shareholders to cut and run. Yes, it will be worth so much more after P2, if all goes well, and I personally hope Summit runs its course but the reality is that we, the smaller shareholders, will have little say IF there was a substantial offer.

Per Free-Money this morning from the other board

RE: jimmy mellon

'No chance MellonMan.

He knows very well that DMD success with a drug attributable to 100% of the population is worth well over £30 a share and maybe pushing well over £100 with no further dilution on the current company stock.

We will be well over £3 a share just on the C.Diff deal.

In the words of another great investor...it's still a 'screaming buy' at these prices. GLA'

Lovely sound to that quote from Jim. It is just an opinion though.
