23/6/2017 15:43 | Good to see end of week retrace. Hopefully seller done now, tightly held share so good chance for this to rebound back to £4 I reckon...DYOR... | qs99
23/6/2017 15:15 | start of retrace, good luck all for Monday onwards me thinks...DYOR | qs99
23/6/2017 13:48 | Seller cleared looks like. Great news. | smallcapinvestor1
23/6/2017 13:42 | Now the bounce has really started | batham1
23/6/2017 10:05 | I bought a lot yesterday and easily so there is a large seller around. Hopefully not too large | smallcapinvestor1
23/6/2017 09:16 | It does seem too cheap with a market cap of £25million. Is it just sentiment, or are we missing something? I hope your buys do well. | lefrene
23/6/2017 08:58 | I cannot see the price falling any further from here at 300p. Forward PE for this year is 5.5 (on an EPS forecast of 54.4p) falling to 5 (EPS forecast of 59.4p) the following year. The chart looks like there is good support at 300p, so I have bought more. Quite a lot more. | shanksaj
22/6/2017 12:16 | tallprawn, that sort of work is the kind of thing that gets subbed out, I'd say that STY is likely to have the right contacts to be able to organise re-cladding on a wide scale. I guess whoever were instructed to put up the wrong cladding will be best tooled up to do it again, but a lead contractor might be best to organise it quickly. No reason why STY shouldn't have a role in it if they think it's worth it. | lefrene
22/6/2017 12:05 | The article indicates this 6 month project is due to be completed in Summer 2017. I'd imagine this contract would be included within the current order book quoted at the last update. The news today that 700 tower blocks could need cladding rectification works is interesting for the sector whilst scary for the poor residents. Can anyone advise on STY's capability to participate in any of this work? | tallprawn
22/6/2017 11:44 | More good news http://www.stylesand | smallcapinvestor1
21/6/2017 16:23 | lefrene, That's the way I feel, in at 15p pre-consolidation and still with it all the way down to 5p, 50p post-consolidation and don't feel at all good about a 40% drop for no reason that PIs can see. I could buy some more, they look cheap enough, but I'd be really annoyed if there is something bad happening that we aren't aware of that becomes apparent the day after I buy. | trigger blade
21/6/2017 10:06 | and maybe not! | qs99
21/6/2017 09:51 | slab starting? | qs99
21/6/2017 09:46 | Buyers are nibbling at it, and it would only take an unexpected new juicy contract to show up, to improve confidence. If all is well at STY the current price is a steal. | lefrene
21/6/2017 09:41 | indeed, but at least buyers IMO are returning, few more and we should see those "slabs" in blue | qs99
21/6/2017 09:26 | "Bounce"? It goes down in slabs, 1.5p up tick is no bounce. | lefrene
21/6/2017 08:47 | Nice to see the bounce has started | batham1
20/6/2017 17:01 | Lefrene "stick to your guns" warmongerer! Stick to what you believe!!! | oliversanvil
20/6/2017 16:53 | I might know a little more, but I know nothing compared to Mr Lenehan, and he hasn't sent me an invite to afternoon tea. | lefrene
20/6/2017 16:31 | Lefrene stick to your guns and console yourself that you are likely to know a lot more about this company than the weak holders and traders that are now selling. | smallcapinvestor1
20/6/2017 15:50 | Happily I'm one of the circa 60p buyers, but it doesn't make feel any happier that the value here is sliding away. My back of the envelope calcs also suggest 55p-60p earnings ps, which is what makes the fall feel as if there's something going on that's not in the public space. | lefrene
20/6/2017 14:34 | Also if we believe we are right and the market is wrong then we should buy more, as I have done today. | smallcapinvestor1
20/6/2017 14:33 | If it is high quality and makes the numbers then the shares will come good eventually. A nanocap like this may only have one or two brokers covering it so there is only so much they can do. As long term investors we must just focus on if we still like the company or not and ignore everything else. Channel warren buffett! | smallcapinvestor1
20/6/2017 14:27 | Small cap, agree with all of that. One other factor is that any original shareholder (about 60p prior to the restructuring) is well in the money. Whether 320p or 295p, they are way in profit. They are not therefore particularly sensitive to the price they get ("hey, it might have been more, but I still made 235p"). Those sellers can drip out their shares for ages. It is the absence of buyers I find frustrating. Part of the job of the NOMAD ( and of course the Company) is to wear out the shoe leather explaining, reassuring and having buyers in their back pocket to soak up sellers. | graham1ty
20/6/2017 14:12 | I don't think any bad news is lurking behind the scenes.I think it's illiquid and lack of newsflow very quickly results in drip selling.I think the market worries about the cyclical nature of the industry.I think the legal issues of the largest shareholder have scared investors off.I think it's well run and a quality operation now which could make eps of 55-60 p this year and therefore is looking very over sold | smallcapinvestor1 |
