Talking of Stockopedia, I notice its stock ranking has tanked due to the fall in momentum. For those familiar with the stock ranking process, it had been in the 90s for most of last year from memory but its overall rank is now just 54 (momentum being just 30). I imagine it'll get a re-rating after today's rise.

Positive write up from Paul Scott today in his Small Cap Value Report. It ends with his summary opinion -

"I don't usually buy shares in low margin contractors any more. The sector is too accident-prone, in terms of profit warnings when big contracts go wrong in some way.

That said, at the current valuation, this is looking very tempting. My finger is hovering over the buy button, and I think this could have maybe 20-30% upside in it, possibly?"

Yes, the consolidation served its purpose back then, now we need perhaps a 3 for 1 to improve liquidity. Mr Lenehan has done a good job here, a brilliant re-financing, now it's a case of not over reaching, and wrecking what he has achieved so far. But he deserves a better rating than this.

It's not that long ago that they did a consolidation to make the shares more marketable 10 to 1 at 5p or something like that. Yes folks, this share was at 50p only a couple of years or so ago :-)

Evidently the drop in share price has not gone unnoticed at STY HQ, a timely update, perhaps the AGM will also be equally upbeat. Now time for a scrip issue to improve the float, narrow the spread and damp the oscillations. A market cap of £32 million for a growing business that might make a gross of £10 million this year, seems way too cheap..

Nobilis, not sure about 50p, but fingers crossed. The share price was suggesting there was something we did not know, some horrendous pending announcement. This statement withdraws that concern at least for a while
