romeike agree.

At the end of the day we are an $11m mkt cap company with $8m in cash and some decent assets, including Pandora.

After management bonuses for another great deal there will be nothing left . What a bunch of clowns

The only success here is that Marcus managed to tread water instead of sinking, and this farce could definitely have sunk the company. Stratex now at lest has the funds to pursue proper business opportunities, hopefully this time without partnering with thieves.

Expect an RNS re Goldstone shortly I would think

Eight million dollars isn't going to buy much of a producing asset so it's TSR to the rescue!!

I imagine Marcus will want to get rid of muratdere as well and get the hell out of Turkey and concentrate on TS and Pandora. Pretty much as I predicted before. This Turkish situation is the reason I sold out of AAU as well. This could be a much more interesting investment now, but depends where it settles. I guess there will be some investors who were only here for the income from altintepe, who will probably sell.

On a lighter note hopefully there will not be a raising which some have alluded to and hopefully we can move on now and put the whole sorry history behind us.

Obvious to me the previous management did such a poor deal with Bahar that we have probably been lucky to get anything out of it.

Bob must be spinning in his provisional grave reading his baby has just been sold for a pittance.

Blobby. How could Marcus be expected to say that we have been shafted by an unprincipled Turkish company, who used their position of strength in their own country to starve us of funds and force us to sell for next to nothing ? He did the right thing. Cut his losses and quite skilfully IMO. Its the previous board who are responsible for this mess.

TSR is the future, I think they didn't want to be diluted out of there....Pandora results soon?

We they won't be buying aau out with that amount !! Either sell at sub 1.6p or play the long long game.

That seems like a terrible deal. Why have shareholders not been given a proper explanation about what has been going on and why Altintepe has to be sold for so little?

Agree, exbiz, in the circs, with STI running out of cash and bahar holding all the strings, this was not a bad price as a way out of an awful position. I'll see where this settles and reconsider - after all there is TS still !

Once again a failure to hold on to any producing assets, resulting in a sale, none of the proceeds of which I guarantee you will ever make it back to shareholderz.

yep, Bahar had STI over a barrel. Skilfully played by them. In the circs, not too bad a deal IMO. Thinking about buying back in but a little tender and sensitive from previous experience ! A bit like STI are over Altintepe. Relieved its over but sore !

LOL

Hopefully Marcus will not get bent over the desk when he buys something for Stratex.

Bahar buyer deserves a bonus for sure!

My guess is they accessed the country/political risk mixed with the 'issues' with Bahar and decided to move on. I would also suggest they have some near term producing asset in mind where they can have control which was what was suggested by a director when I met them last year.

More to this than meets the eye in my view.

I thought a sale was on the cards.

What a disgusting farce. So much for exercising contractual rights, more like cut our losses and run away.
