This TURKEY needs some more meet on the breast, streaky bacon and then a good stuffing!

Hopefully in time for Christmas.

:))

Ps. Is the new CEO another stooge/geologist/stool pidgeon?

Nothing available on-line currently, usual story when they drop the price. They suggested an update from the gold mine this month.

I'm still expecting quarterly updates on production at Altintepe as announced in:

hxxp://www.stratexinternational.com/news/altintepe-production-and-legal-update-2016-03-07

Can anyone tell me if this is NOT the case?

Our last quarterly update was on 11th August:

hxxp://www.stratexinternational.com/news/altintepe-gold-mine-q2-update-2016-08-11

So I'm looking forward to a good update this week or if not then at least before the end of the month.

The majors are seeing gains as they are the ones directly benefitting from a rise in pog as they are the producers, where as most small mining stocks are non-production explorers. We on the other hand are a gold production company that as implied in the last presentation can not do so profitably even with low production costs and strong gold price and are clearly having issues with constant production levels hence the guidance on expected full year production figures against half year results. The very fact that when questioned on these issues the company are non responsive only seek to weaken confidence and ensure our share price doesn't rise along with our gold production peers.

Plus ca change...

Back to waiting "two or three months" (wasn't that one of Bob's favourite lines too?).

A comfortable buying level. Perhaps time for a top up here if i can get them for under 2p...

Fact is that the junior resource sector has been hit hard over recent months, even popular stocks like ARS, MTR, KEFI , etc are down heavily.

Seems the majors are getting the re-rates, look at KAZ, up from under 70p to £3.50p today. I think many expected the juniors to really fly on increasing commodity prices, but no, not yet at least.

STI has value beyond the current £9m market cap but it needs a catalyst to re-rate. I am hoping the new CEO will deliver more news to market in due course.

Recent purchases around this level have delivered trading profits if anyone is interested.

Market has no more trust now than when Bob was captain. Message is that Bahar is not going to pay STI what was envisaged and the CEO cannot dispel that. Utterly pathetic

I held shares in Archipelago when he was CEO there . He was not outstanding and sold it for a derisory price that just got me out at break even. Peeps here too much into the hero worship

Marcus has a good reputation that would suggest that he knew the essential Altintepe cash would soon flow before he took the job of CEO being a man of good sense.
If he knew that why can't he impart that knowledge to shareholders ?
Or has he been misled by Chris Hall ?
As shareholders have been in the past.

Gold back to where it began the night - hardly believable.

It's fair to assume that the Stratex web presentation, stating 30k oza and the somewhat obscure reference to profitability are near the mark, otherwise they would have been quick to correct it - surely

Well done exbiz. The more people ask the question, the more it will be 'in focus'. I expect the large shareholders are asking the same thing.

I have put the question on profitability and gold production to the company already and if everyone is really quiet you can hear the answer ........ That's it, silence !

A spread of Yellow Strip spread of "only" 5% or 0.10p suggests more interest than usual. We will see, tightfist

What of Stratex project countries ?
Altintepe/Turkey, ThaniStratex/Egypt,
Ethiopia,Djibouti, Tembo/Tanzania,
Dalafin/Senegal and GRL/west Africa ?
'Big hearted' Trump will he be good for them too ? Yerrr course he will.

Lack of clarification on Altintepe the
longer it goes on the more it will dampen
Stratex. An RNS is now overdue.

Trump will be good for the UK. We are no longer back of the queue for a trade deal with Trump likely to prioritise us over the EU. Obama can leave office as one of the worst Presidents in history.

Gold up, STI down. Nothing new there.

All I can say is it was suggested an update on Altentepe is due in November, that was before the presentation though.

Personally I believe the new CEO is exploring a number of new corporate initiatives and certainly has the contacts (unlike Bob) to secure them. The next event where Stratex appear is Mines and Money at the end of this month.

I think the election result today is very good for gold in the short, medium and long term.

The new man needs to clear up the 30k Oz's issue as well as that other bombshell of mine profitability/incoming funds.
