Bearing in mind earlier RNS figures suggested 40000oz for Altintepe this year, I'm a bit disappointed to see the presentation doesn't suggest any stretch from 30000oz. Let's hear what tadtech has to say, I hope he at least got a free sandwich.

Good presentation , infers we will get more drilling news, albeit across the existing "tired" assets.
BOD needs a further clear out; expect that in the coming months.
I think we'll see the real action from Q2 2017 when Marcus has had 6 months in post and starts changing the company to his image and vision.

Hi Tadtech, have they published an agenda for the meeting that shows the speech titles and if this suggests Marcus will be speaking about Stratex itself? I did wonder if it was the case he'd simply been invited to event to speak on some general industry topic instead.

We were speculating and hoping for an RNS but it isn't a disaster we didn't get one, it simply would have been nice. We are over due an update really.

Flávio I completely agree and it's been a real point of frustration for me that this was absent from the fs. I do hope that Marcus can clear up a lot of these outstanding issues and have far more faith in him to resolve this than I ever did Bob.

Someone on one of the threads (I believe it was Tadtech) mentioned an industry-wide benchmark closure cost. I believe it was 5-7% of the mine construction costs which would equate to roughly $3m

daniieldruff I don't think the AAU JV is the same as STI's. AAU are not dependant on Proccea (the other partner) to dish out the loot.
Also the JV owes Ariana a lot of money so I am quite sure the opposite will happen in that Ariana will receive first revenues to compensate.

Is anyone seeing a readthrough for Ariana with STI's delay in getting first income? From what I can see Ariana are also using a similar JV structure, and I reckon they need income from it by March 2017 at the latest to avoid a placing, which if the STI experience is fair guide, will not happen.
