The papers are dated Feb 2016 and all litigation was settled per the RNS 29 Sep 2016, unless I've missed something?

Exactly, a cynic might reword it to "we couldn't raise as much as we wanted through the bucket shops, so we have no choice but to open it up to existing shareholders so we can get the rest from them".


If past history is to be repeated, they will be back again for more cash, soon, and as successive placings are for less than the previous, PI's may be better off waiting for the next one!

I would have thought an 81% take up in the open offer is a sign of confidence by shareholders but others may disagree. The fact that Paul Ryan subscribed to 186m that is another positive sign as he will know full well how the new strategy of the company is working and that he believes the prospects looking forwards is good.

One thing we can say with certainty about the Board - they have a sense of humour!

Geocurve 'survey' things. Most of the work is from surveying 'utilising a variety of platforms - GIS database, 3D modelling, laser scanners, UAV/UAS operations and hydrographic modelling' - So drones are only one of the platforms out of many that the Geocurve surveyors are using for surveying.

Doesn't look great but I think the new guy could be interesting and may save this POS. The framework is already in place with the NQE , the govenment drone bill is in AERO's favour, the twitter page is looking good, and back to a £5m cap might not be unreasonable if funding outlook and potential improve. If they add a bit of mystery to the mix, could be easy.... partner with a drone delivery company, just buy some delivery drones for testing, or partner with a passenger drone development company or something. I don't think it would take much of a spark to get this POS moving from this junk level - IMO DYOR etc.

The problem here is their overheads are far above their income, and they keep on issuing billions of shares to cover it.


Whilst drones are clearly here to stay, and there will be a myriad of new uses for them I'm sure, they don't seem to be bale to turn that into a workable business model.


I think AERO should be private, the costs of running an AIM listed vehicle are around £300,000 per year, so that comes straight off the bottom line, as does the running costs and wages.

Looks like I've picked a potential 2018 winner with this POS (maybe). They already have NQE status here - DYOR etc.

Having said that, he could still be a 'clown with money to burn' of course so we shouldn't get too excited just yet !

But it does make things a bit more interesting than they were a week ago.......

I wish they'd focus on something more exciting, drone deliveries, something like that ? What about drone insurance ? That would get investors attention in my opinion. Drone deliveries of say medical supplies and a JV with some medical institution? that's the type of thing that's missing here at the moment imv ....

Anyway I picked up a few shares as I'm not sure that it can get much worse for this POS. The new guy looks like he knows what he's doing and I think it's interesting that he has the medical connections and looks well linked to sources of future potential funding. I'm sure he must have a few ideas on how to turn this POS around. ATB

Well, this Trevor Brown character appears to have committed £350,000 by buying his 1bn shares (which is 25% of the whole company now) so unless he's a clown with money to burn it is likely that he knows a bit more than we do.........
