If you have a traditional (rather than online) broker, you may be able to short it.

AERO is too small for the spreadbetters.

Well that was short and sweet, bordering on a scam.

You were spot on Turbotrader, they were sneaky filling in the TR1 with very slightly different detail regarding who they were. They must have been selling out as soon if not before the even the first TR1 was released I would think.
