15/12/2017 13:16 | Thanks eipgam, where did you put your investment. I bought into this and 2 other insurance companies at the Brexit bottom. Very disappointed with this one, AV and LGEN both 28% higher | enami
15/12/2017 12:20 | Considering and comparing the growth in value of Emerging Market and Far East equities and markets over the last year (Aberdeens main investment focus) and Aberdeens AUM performance , I can now see why the share price behaved badly yesterday. It's a pity we couldn't see the reason yesterday like some others appear to have done. I disinvested out of all my Aberdeen funds (4 different ones) not long after the takeover was announced. I reckoned that after a period of poor performance by Aberdeen, the last thing the fund managers needed was a set of new bosses. | eipgam
15/12/2017 08:28 | Ah yes now we see the reason RNS "Standard Life Aberdeen plc AUMA and flows update" Is there some bad news hidden in there? The headline figures look pretty flat, I have not read it all yet. Some kind of news leak was probably the reason for the big drop. Maybe the market was expecting a better set of figures. The Alliance News headline is "Standard Life Aberdeen Sees "Good" Momentum In Business" | enami
15/12/2017 07:58 | AUMA and flows update:- Martin Gilbert and Keith Skeoch, Chief Executive Officers, commented: "Standard Life Aberdeen is making good progress towards creating a world-class investment company. The integration of Aberdeen Standard Investments is on track and we are delighted with the way the teams are coming together to deliver for clients. "While the combined business has experienced net outflows, these were in line with our expectations given the asset classes affected and the structural outflows from our lower margin mature books. Nevertheless the momentum in our business is good with £58.6bn of gross inflows during the period. We continue to innovate, launching new funds with strong backing from clients and winning new mandates across a wide range of investment strategies. Standard Life, our pensions and savings business has had record flows year to date demonstrating further strength and diversity of our business. "The successful lPO of HDFC Life in India and our recent registration as a private securities fund manager in China, have further strengthened our business. We remain confident of delivering long-term value for our clients, our people and our shareholders." | cwa1

13/11/2017 09:48 | Could soon drop below 400p. Not sure why the share price is dropping every day. Brexit not helping. As this is a long term hold for me the falling share price in the short term does not affect my strategy of Holding here for the long term. | underhill2
