12/11/2004 12:00 | I'm not sure on where the government is focused on the pensions plans to include stamps (SG.index), also property, but if any one is a collector like me,they must be astounded at the realisation of the stamps prices achieved on Ebay, lately, so Gibbons must feel that their portfolio's are worth more than 6 months ago already. The supply is there, also the demand for quality stamps, It may be a way a collector and share punter combined, is shifting his profits on the recent rise in the share-markets? | ![]() abergele
12/11/2004 11:51 | I guess people doing the figures based on the recent rns, plain and simple fundimentals imo | ![]() cambium
12/11/2004 11:50 | I thought the same as Biscuit2 and Abergele. This came a couple of weeks earlier than I expected - and with more force. At the back of my mind I had a rough February target of 120 based crudely on the price chart and at worst 102 based on estimated forward eps of 6.8 @ pe 15. But looks like the pace has quickened. Wonder what's happening? | ![]() don carter
12/11/2004 11:08 | There must be a big buy in the wings surely? MMs are playing strongly to tempt some heavy sells to feed it... | ![]() xdavid
12/11/2004 11:01 | The 90-93p was taken up sooner than I thought....1 hour 10,mins. next step, 92-95p, if the pressure is kept up.There's a familiar, 5000, buyer about by the looks of things? | ![]() abergele
12/11/2004 10:50 | My bank account at the moment :) SGI does this - nothing for months, then all of a sudden 15% in a day. No news is necessary when you can buy SGI for so cheap. The reason it drifts over the winter is the lack of news - then its a case of playing chicken for results. | ![]() kael
12/11/2004 10:50 | Huge bounce off the 200 day MA. Vot's occurring? Not a bid, surely? | ![]() 2magpies
12/11/2004 10:43 | rather nice surprise, what's up? | ![]() elmfield
12/11/2004 10:11 | To be honest I didn't think we'd see such a sudden move at this point in time, thought next month maybe. However I'm not going to complain. If they can get it up to £1 again at this stage then it bodes well for the run up to results in the New Year. | biscuit2
12/11/2004 10:03 | Let's not go there - the wife's looking over my shoulder with my coffee :-) CR | ![]() cockneyrebel
12/11/2004 09:55 | I suspect the market makers are trying to move the price of this share to around the £1 mark but won't do it all in a day. You can see that it is the M.M. moving it today, same as yesterday. Regards , Moneybags | ![]() moneybags
12/11/2004 09:35 | Whats the position of this on the riser's board, another 10-15K of buys should see it at 87-89p spread. then next step 90-93p .................... | ![]() abergele
12/11/2004 08:25 | The price is just ticking up on every single buy at the moment | alwaysphoto
11/11/2004 20:58 | And there was me a couple of months ago stating that SGI had got out of Provide Commerce at just the right time .... well they are trading at $ 30 today, following well received Q1 results! | ![]() orange1
11/11/2004 18:27 | I dont hold any by the way, having sold at 103p.But do have a soft spot for the Company and will probably buy back in again soon. | ![]() nurdin
11/11/2004 18:20 | lol - Good interest today. I think it will be up again tomorrow! | ![]() daza70

11/11/2004 17:04 | Well, they did drop below the 200 day M.A. for the first time in living memory..... M4 | ![]() macaw4
11/11/2004 17:03 | There was a 22,429 share buy @ 78.5p at 11.10 which does not show on my Advfn screen (free one) and the MMs would have known beforehand about the "single protected transaction" of 75,000 @ 82p clocked in at 16.28. Someone likes these prices! Seems to be a bit of a rally in small stocks the last couple of days. Nice to see majority green figures for a change :-) | ![]() xdavid
11/11/2004 16:14 | Comdirect now have bid price at 79p - quite a move today from my purchase at 77p this morning - I can't believe my small 5k shares sparked that much movement, there must be something in the background for the mm's to move prices so much in a really short time span. Anyone any ideas what may be happening?? | gregory0106
11/11/2004 14:47 | I asked the company 3 weeks ago if they intended issuing a trading statement prior to year end, they replied that they had no plans to do so. | addas99 |
