Perhaps the reason for today’s fall is that the half year results have leaked and don’t contain any update on the 1c magenta situation?

Who knows? Guess we will find out tomorrow / soon.

Am very tempted to buy a load more now. Historically, buying under 3p has always been an excellent idea.
There’s no point waiting for the nft RNS to come out, by then the price should be 6p plus, so will probably buy more very shortly whilst the price is so low.

I'm talking about mainstream, mass market...stuff which will move the needle and make a difference. It needs a big hitter, like USPS to launch one of their special releases as an NFT. That will validate the category and drive the market.

Results must be being prepared and highly likely to show a further loss after the recent Malletts situation. But this is known already and should not be causing any sell off in the shares

NFT stamps DO exist at the moment.

Austria, Gibraltar, Croatia, UN...all issue Crypto Stamps. Check out the Digital Philatelist - he has a bunch of links to crypto/NFT stamps.

Whatever else, how on earth can the valuation of Stanley Gibbons still equate to a share price of around 3p especially with the new fractional ownership scheme, the 1c magenta and associated publicity, the new involvement of Castelnau promoting SG, the turn around in the more basic trading at SG and the reopening of fairs and exhibitions all now pushing SG upwards and forwards?

And the half year 2021 update is due very soon.....

I think this stock is just about to burst upwards

NFTs are not targeted at current stamp collectors; it is the generic collector, who arguably has a better version of the original, if the 3D file is of sufficient quality. It can be projected; think of wall art, which can constantly be changed from your collection.It is a sizeable business with a significant resale market. Who know if the market has a long term future but no one can deny the growth.

A NFT is a "non fungible token" or a digital record that you own part of a thing, or part of a virtual thing. They're pretty scammy in many areas (see upper echelon gamer YouTube channel for some info on these things appearing in computer games). They're basically Ponzi schemes, but on a computer.

Doesn't mean they're illegal bit the regulators have started to crack down on them as scammers have been exploiting them to divest the gullible of their money.

Stamp NFTs do not exist at this moment: I predict one will be launched in the very near future. A digital (NFT) of a limited edition stamp, which you will be able to project and enjoy in 3D, rather than the traditional means of storing physical stamps. This limited edition collection will then be traded and due to its scarcity, increase in value.

All good publicity but it is not exactly setting the shares alight this morning!

And we have the half year figures and update at the end of this month???

You'd have thought there was some interest by investors.

Problem is that there is very little visibility or RNS's issued by the company.

Not even an RNS on the Castelnau IPO, yet that led to a change in SG's share base and there surely should have been an RNS updating investors?

I bought in here yesterday.If SGI can get a fraction of the value being generated in NFTs it will transform the business. The question is whether the team and those around them properly understand the category.I am less convinced by shared ownership.

It was a good Stampex with a lot of stock trade done. Catalogue sales of the new Volume 1 - Commonwealth / UK catalogue are going very well

There’s going to be non stop publicity now until at least 18th October when the Castelnau IPO starts trading and afterwards when SG bring the 1c magenta on display and issue the nfts / fractional ownership
