When you get to my age you realise its a waste of time bearing grudges just move on there are so many opportunities you can be pretty useless at timing and trading like me and still make a small fortune given time, persistence and above all disciplined cash management. What kills businesses and investors is running out of cash. The only way to recover from big losses is with cash to buy in at the bottom. I try to keep at least 20% cash at all times in my portfolios. In march last year I held more than 50% cash now I'm down to 15% and looking to get back to 20% by selling the laggards to build a war chest for the next down turn.

One positive RNS and this is 3 figures straight away. Mayb HRNet knew what they were doing after all buying into this at 180p. Henry Spain has already doubled his entire investment in a few months.

No wonder the lowest ASK on show of 62p is being paid in full - BID/ASK totals are 137k v 40k, as I type.

In 2009 (remember the financial crash) STAF was about todays price but with about 1/7 the turnover but it made EPS 10p. Lets say in the recovery over the next 2 years (think all those hospitality business needing to recruit and all the unemployed needing to be found jobs), even without an increase in turnover it could reach 2016 EPS of 78p and an share price of £15. Back in 2016 I only had a few thousand and ended up losing money on them so I bought a good few at 30p, I've doubled my money but still need £2.5 to get my earlier losses back.

Lessons:
1) don't fall in love with a share if its falling get out you may not have all the information.
2) Don't fall out of love with a share just because you've lost money on it in the past.

Mentioned yesterday that this jump in recent days encouraged me to slightly trim holding (still keeping most of my position, to be clear). And EVERY time I've put a limit sell at the bid I have got a fill notably above that level. MMs are definitely VERY keen to accumulate. Have they been asked to? Well done to all who have been patiently suffering in this for months.

Well done to all those buying in 20's and 30's. Must admit I only added twice at that level as I thought it was probably a lost cause by that point! Breaking even now looking very feasible for me. This and Shell are my last remaining pre-2020 holdings at a loss.
