Anyone have any details about the open day next month? I have it down as 12 Jul but struggle to find any info on the website. What time does it kick off for instance?

I am sure they will do well. It is a HUGE market.

SRT and exact earth have basically agreed to go their own different ways. I would rather be SRT.

Is the OASIS service trials report from a year ago of interest or relevant to the ExactEarth/SRT potential?

where's LaVAL gone? wasn't his trust on the major shares list at one time as it's not on there now!?

Doesn't take many shares to make this move, so I wouldn't be too concerned. SRT always drifts on lack of news and so presents buying opportunities for those who believe it will deliver

jamie, thank you again for your posts. SRT is so misunderstood. It is a gift share.
You point out to people how just misunderstood is the AIS space and in particular maritime domain awareness and subsequent management..

you will 'check in every few months'...where nothing happens? Er...why bother then to check in?

I suggest you look at SRT website to refresh your 'expertise'. Please also look elsewhere.

To avoid misunderstanding...when I said your post was informative.....I meant it was informative of your ignorance and also your stupidity.

Please let us know when you have reformed...and bought some SRT shares.

funnily enough regarding Kongsberg I asked ST about them a while ago, his replies below;

Kongsberg some Norweigen satellites with AIS receivers - as do a few countries. However they can only see Class A and have very periodic coverage. This is an entirely different proposition to exactEarths global coverage and ability through ABSEA to pick up transmissions from class B and identifier. Kongsberg will probably be a customer for ABSEA data and ABSEA enabled transceivers in some situations - eg Angola.

also;

Ref kongsberg - I note on the boards that people get confused between offers such as marinetraffic, kongsberg, portvision and orbcomm who are simply offering vts systems primarily aimed at tracking large ships with Class A. This is very different to the largescale MDM, national fleet systems we are addressing.

Jamie, you obviously do not know that Transas use SRT equipment.

Do more basic research before shouting you mouth off.

JamieNot only do you need to do more homework, you need to try reading the posts here.Nobody but nobody has said that the imo will impose AIS on fishing fleets.Quite honestly you are missing the point by such a wide margin that I'm embarrassed for you, but it does have some entertainment value. Check in as often as you like, we will all look forwards to any other pearls you can chuck our way.

You are joking? You think SRT will compete with Konsberg, Transas, L3 etc. on visualisation software. ROFL, these are the big boys delivering bleeding edge virtual reality for drones as well as the industry leading ECDIS units for commercial shipping. They could buy SRT, but why bother. Maybe management will eventually court them for a cheap bolt on at a much lower share price

Then you expect the IMO impose AIS on fishing fleets and leisure craft and/or there will be a series of individual but material local agreements to this effect.

And finally, this publicly accessible and cataloged signal will be significantly managed by SRT.

Shine on you crazy, crazy diamonds.

Its a solid, mundane value share inexplicably priced for growth.

I will have to set a calendar alert to check in every few months as nothing will happen in the interim.

Not a very flattering description. I think this gives a more accurate impression, although one would need the full specs of both systems to arrive at valid comparison.

Useful info? Not a lot,other than he seems to have some dubious 'leisure' choices.
Oh well, in an 'open house' you always have the odd waifs and strays popping in and giving us the benefit of their expertise. No harm done as such.
