24/2/2018 14:49 | Plenty more fish in the sea. From ATON contract announced in August. " SRT ... announces the receipt of an order for 200 AIS Aids to Navigation (‘AtoN’) transceivers for immediate delivery. The order is for the world’s biggest single deployment of AIS AtoN and will be installed along part of a European waterway. The system will be used to enhance traffic control, the monitoring of the exact buoy location and status and the continuous real time monitoring of the local maritime environment and weather." Virtual ATONs here to stay? Bring it on. SRT are in the market, and whilst they won't win every contract there's plenty of fish to fight over. | goodapple

24/2/2018 08:23 | SRT should be raising its profile on the back of incidents/articles like these. Joe Public should be made more aware of AIS and that it can and should prevent disasters like the Sanchi. Monitoring fishing activity enables someone to tell you where the fish on your plate has come from, and incidents like this make that a very serious issue. Somebody at Midsomer Norton should be feeding the press from SRT's angle at every opportunity. A part-time Press Officer at SRT might be a wise investment. | goodapple
24/2/2018 08:17 | It is the ability to track class B in real time which is important. No distinction is made in the article about class A or class B. Class A has been monitored and mapped for a long time. The question is, can any competitors of SRT track class B in real time? | crystball
24/2/2018 07:50 | Also of interest re Health & safety 'Fishing continued' after East China sea oil spill Polluted fish ?? | pugugly
24/2/2018 07:46 | Kimboy2_ U beat me to it !! but added headlines for the article "World's fishing fleets mapped from orbit" And also a question for all - Who were the major suppliers of the transponders ? Most surprising for me is that (so far as I am aware) no mention of this mapping technology in respect of fishing has been mentioned before or trumpeted by SRT - or have I missed it ? | pugugly
23/2/2018 08:22 | Can somone please remind me of the current relationship beween ExactEarth and SRT - Seem to have been so many changes over the years that I (silly me) have lost track - Are they now a competitor or a partner and if so on what terms? Thanks in advance - | pugugly
23/2/2018 08:11 | bypooh. Thanks, not really positive then! | barrieb
23/2/2018 07:59 | Barrie Good spot, but it is the last of their first generation constellation which they have already mostly written off. One can assume that it had been contracted a long time ago and they couldn't get out of it. | bypooh
23/2/2018 07:44 | Prospects cant be that bad if they are still prepared to keep investing! I wonder how it will compare with ours and is this a reason for the delay in confirmation of contract! | barrieb
21/2/2018 11:17 | ...that would be a perfect time to buy. | yumyum
21/2/2018 11:00 | But it could well be the share price takes a dive first, if there is a profit warning announced before a contract win is announced ! | yumyum
20/2/2018 23:22 | ....which means big profits in case dum dum did not understand ;-) | yumyum
20/2/2018 23:13 | The projects ARE coming in (not IF) ...although when (WHEN) is not clear. I assume that a minimum of 4 (FOUR) and a maximum of 7 come in before 31st Dec 2018. | yumyum
20/2/2018 23:11 | hey homey you seem a bit dum dum | yumyum
20/2/2018 18:00 | Hi goodapple, Well, your explanation certainly makes more sense....and is consistent with a 'boosterish' CEO. Suggesting he doesn't care if a project comes in or not is hardly likely or plausible. If you're a hammer , I suppose everything looks like a nail. ATB | extrader
20/2/2018 17:47 | homeboy, I think you misinterpret the CEO's words. I think he's saying it's not a question of "if" the projects come in. | goodapple
20/2/2018 17:12 | dum dum, the CEO states in the webcast that he's not worried IF the projects dont come in, what part of that don't you understand. Would have thought an investor would be very bothered if a project doesn't 'come in'. Just thought it worth mentioning. | homeboy
20/2/2018 16:37 | Obiterdicta thank you and some good points. YumYum you imagine that the future will be rosy. The facts are not looking rosy at the moment. Great things may indeed happen, or not. But facts on the ground are pretty much what Obiterdicta is saying. My shares are now worth a fraction of the initial investment. That is a fact. But Tucker is happy so that's all right then. If I was a newcomer looking at this company as it is now it does not look like a great investment. Piedro. Instead of attacking persons and name calling; why not try explaining why you think SRT is such a great investment at the moment? Just a thought. | jimpubes
20/2/2018 16:15 | homey....maybe listen AND try and understand ? Both at once is difficult for you ? What implication do you need help with ? | yumyum
20/2/2018 15:48 | WOW!! The slammers are out in force As if we didn't already know | piedro
20/2/2018 15:35 | Correct Philburt - this could spike at any time but I am happy to sit and wait. If I miss the bus, as the saying goes, there will be another one along soon. OD | obiterdicta
20/2/2018 15:13 | OD - the danger is, the difference between demonstrated 'momentum' and 'missing the bus' is a thin line.... | philburt |
