Some nice chunks of buys at 25k lots will soon bring it over 40p again.

Agree vague update, no webcast mentioned and no real statement from ST compared to previous updates. Say will update guidance when project milestones met which I assume might be sooner rather than later but just says second half, surely wouldn't wait to end of this period for more guidance.

Cash position remains the same as last update but not much to get excited about, feels different in tone to other updates.

Dismal numbers on their own, but the key point is the use of the word "will" in the third paragraph. That implies a confidence about the imminent conclusion of major project commitments that we have not seen before. And, exbroker, cash is not remotely tight.

Hardly confidence inspiring?

No, they don't source parts from Hungary. The products are assembled there, and billed to SRT in US$. As are the components.

WRT to third party kit that SRT supplies, they also work in US$.

I think the whole of the Indonesian deal is at c50% margins.

Don't we source our parts from Hungary and presumably will be paying in Euros. Not sure what % of the Indonesian deal is for hardware which carries a high margin (50%?)I know it's not just "selling boxes", but would be useful to know. Perhaps a question to ask ST at the next broadcast, hopefully soon?

The price rise may be due to the "penny" dropping on the fact that the GBP is so much weaker.

When the Indonesian deal was announced in March of this year at $100m the conversion rate to GBP was £70m. The GBP rate today is now £78.56m, if profit margins of 50% are achieved as targeted then that is a significant appreciation in profits without having to do anything extra.

Agree with that entirely. In the absense of figures or RNS's it wouldn't be surprising to find the share price tracking resistances, supports and channels, as nothing else to go on.

I believe SRT were a technical buy around the 40p mark and I guess that has now been "confirmed" with a decent bounce off that level. Of course, it might indicate a good TS is coming too, although historically, SRT has not been a leaky company.

Ithink tick up may be temporary-so be careful as only a small number of trades are causing a commotion-not news.

Flicker of share price action. Has someone spotted ST at Heathrow in his best suit with a Saudi Arabia ticket in his hand?
