"We don't want your business. You are too dodgy for even us to take payment from you to help you cook your dodgy books"

that is the message from the auditing fraternity isn't it ..

I thought your share listing gets cancelled (ie shareholders wiped out) if you do not re-appoint a new auditor after one month ?

I called this right again, the auditors not wanting to be appointed suggests they aren't happy with the way the company is dealing with the way its own FD is dealing with its figures and or the pressure SPD is putting on the company in relation to its figures.

It smells of "creative accountancy" which if that was not done it could reveal some nast surprises!

An interesting situation indeed. The net result of upsetting so many people and companies!

More than 50 major UK retailers, including Marks & Spencer, Harrods and Iceland, have demanded tax cuts from the government to safeguard the future of the high street amid intense pressure from online rivals. In a letter to the chancellor, Sajid Javid, the bosses of some of the nation's biggest retail chains called for an urgent reform of the business rates system, which taxes companies based on the buildings they occupy. - Guardian

226+ must hold. It could easily be the determining direction zone for a fair period

Above that, bulls have no reason to fret

Tbh the situation looks absolutely dire.Once this buy back period has elapsed and some more info is gleaned about the overall awful trading conditions and performance across the group in general in a shrinking economy coupled with Newcastle Uniteds obvious trials the spd share price looks primed to totally implode.

QANTAS it's not looking good then is it.

The Newcastle situation looks awful, Ashley staring at a monster loss there. They look very weak now and could well get relegated.

One day people will work it out and the SPD shares will crater

You can't live off a football club indefinitely!!!

Yep he’ll be the king alright.Unfortunately he’ll be ruling a high street bereft of punters and his latest shenanigans just leave him even more exposed to the continuing decline so very evident here.Been physically on a couple of high streets this week and the lack of numbers in general is concerning but even more alarming for this dinosaur is the total lack of punters in sdp and H of F compared with competitors like jd soorts and even Debenhams.Ruling an increasingly empty kingdom I’m afraid and the dramatic fall could only be months away.
