The longer it takes to issue meaningful information, rather than mystifying side-issues, the more vulnerable the share price will become. I'm astonished that, even with Ashley's hoovering up of shares,the share price has managed to remain above 2 quid. Let's hope a few more of his dodgy dominoes begin to wobble and test the true resilience of the shady empire.

MA has been murky for years. You think all this nonsense was not already largely in the price? The past two days price action can hardly be ignored, so saying anything is a “slam dunk” with SPD is unwise.

The question I ask here is this: If in six months time it turns out there is dodgy stuff going on here and profits had been inflated for a few years, how many of us would be surprised??? Sports Direct has more red flags than a President Xi rally. It is starting to look like the new Findel.
