39.25p.

18 million in block trades at 40p, that is serious volume !

The only thing that stops me thinking takeover is the fact the
price is still weak, these things tend to leak so i think there
is just still a large institutional buyer out there.

Certainly seems to be a massive volume going through - over 19 million highest ever as far as I can see.

........One week later

The retracement I said last week is now getting into shape spread 38.75 / 39.75p.
Yesterday's false closing price 43p gave the signal of things to come ( posible double top price)

Without a doubt there is an institutional buyer here qip.

The market as a whole is down loads and this is up which means
one thing and that's a buyer mopping up the sales.

qipincha,
There are more than the two of you here, there are always other folks lurking! I opened a small position here recently. The chart is looking lovely, agree that we should see 50p soon enough, and a possible return to the 88p area to form a nice reverse head-and-shoulders pattern not too long after that. The trading update to come should help things along nicely.

A few things highlighted in their brochure:

In 2007 we commenced an ongoing project for the State of Kuwait advising on and
implementing a smart metering system for electricity and water customers.
In 2008 we commenced ongoing work in the Netherlands delivering detailed design projects
for the Dutch transmission authority.
In 2008 we undertook over £70m of capital work for EDF distribution networks including the
renewal of the Colchester Distribution Grid.
In 2008 we undertook the preliminary and detailed design work for a new grid access point to
reinforce the supply for the City of London.
In 2009 we took over the management and maintenance of the Whitelees wind farm on
behalf of Scottish Power and Renewables. Whitelees is the UK's largest onshore installation
with 140 turbines.
In 2009 we commenced ongoing work advising the Government of the Sultanate of Oman
on implementing a new 500MW independent power plant with associated 30 million gpd sea
water desalination plant.

Hi watchout2,

seems only two of us here.

I am waiting for their trading update on 17th May, in two weeks time.
if the trading is in line with their expectation, the profit will be 32m+, and the EPS will be 5-7p?(cann't remember how many new share issued last year, hopefully it will not affect EPS much).

Apart from that, there are other events could approach us later on this year, for example, extension of contracts, new contracts, smart meter project, energy saving project...and of course, the disposal or improvement of gas business.

I looked around at Freedom 's website, very interesting, the company has a big market share in elec, in 2009, the two new companies acquired extend the companies territory to even Wales, and their business even include wind farm--an exciting business that no one want to miss). I think Simon did contribute enormously to this company and his strategy should be used in the future, but with cautious.

Still here qip.

Just busy elsewhere, just a little consolidation and dip before the next
leg up, quite confident we will see that 50p at some point otherwise i
would take profits and put it elsewhere.

Strong hold.
