06/12/2018 12:02 | MDC, having a more favourable Rand to pound exchange rate than two months ago... Who knows... | p winky
06/12/2018 11:39 | haha I have "doubled down" a number of times now...more recently at 116 and today at 105...lets hope there is an end to this misery. The share is cheap, but needs a catalyst to move higher i.e. either a positive trading/earnings update, or some M&A related chatter. | fahads
06/12/2018 11:15 | Directors have bought reasonable chunks above this price, I imagine capitulation from here. I have double downed at 104.8. | p winky
06/12/2018 09:03 | Is there any news out there other than Spire being excluded from FTSE250? The exclusion shouldn't be a driver of such massive underperformance.... | fahads
03/12/2018 16:01 | shorters back in town? | bountyhunter

27/11/2018 19:14 | Many years ago,I was in a shares club whose policy was to buy last years worst performer (from the main list). I don't think they had charts or details of director dealings in those days, so if they are were around now, I think they would be looking at SPI and be encouraged by the recent director deal, amid what might be a double bottom. Simon Rowlands bought 200K shares @ £1.32 on 5/11/18 and previously 114K @ £2.18 on 14/3/18 215K @ £3.06 on 13/11/15 Perhaps, third time lucky for him: and other directors have also been buying earlier this year. I took these to be good omens, so bought 10K shares in SPI this morning. £sd | squidd

10/11/2018 08:01 | Funny how the CEO Justin Ash bought £200K worth of shares only a week before Mediclinic bid this time last year then........ | justiceforthemany
09/11/2018 17:23 | Simon R is showing long term confidence...only! He would not/ could not have traded if the board had any tiny whiff of corporate activity such as a bid from largest shareholder. | tbr25
09/11/2018 13:14 | Simon Rowlands is a significant figure in the world of Spire. That was a significant buy earlier this week. £265K. Historically his buys are often a precursor to a bid/M&A activity. | justiceforthemany
07/11/2018 22:38 | Shorts closing again | justiceforthemany |
