Cellis. I sold out of Sphere shortly before the delisting. I had bought and sold numerous times over the years from 2015 but some silly buys at around the 7-8p level meant that overall I took a loss at the end. But at least I got some money back !

Recovery taking a lot of time , signed up for 3 months at a gym , cycling , walking , a few weights and exercises to strengthen my calf muscle, the number of exercises I've done on my calf if hoped to have muscles like popey, sadly Olive Oil could give me a run for my money . My aim is be able to stand on leg and raise myself up on my toes , zilch I've been at the recovery stage 9 weeks and my calf muscle's underwhelming, it doesn't stop my walking , and cycling in the gym but progress is slow , apparently it takes 6/9 months so I'll have to be patient, I'm at 4.1/2 half months .£50 on Premium bonds that not getting anyway near what I dropped with Sphere , horses and football bets likewise I'm lucky to get my stake back . How's Rygs and Mrs B are they still holders in Sphere !

Sadly for holders I can't see this ending well , not that I think the technology isn't good that it's the wrong time , 10 years ago I reckon the outcome could have been different , sticking to what they know and with a much more competitive market in that field we would need to invent something more ground breaking, and today I thinking they're looking to prevent and detect rather than operate and cure , it's cheaper and must be successful or eith masses of more cash the system will break

Wow - letters(!) - at least they can still afford a postage stamp. Never got a reply from CFO as to why they couldn't offer matched bargain, jones jenkins (from memory) seemed to be able to offer a matched bargain facility and I saw no visible restriction to who could apply. Perhaps they don't want 'a price' to be out there in case they go looking for private equity or sale

I received a letter from the CFO yesterday...asking if I would oblige by accepting to receive all future contacts through email.
So I said yes to that...:-)

Results pushed back to April then May no doubt...blimey they only have to add up a couple of nos...like zero + zero = ?
If Sphere is thinking of asking me for more money they can FO!! What a shower!

Follow up to the Theranos debacle where ms Holmes settled SEC charges without admitting guilt and claiming no wrongdoing! Yea bloody right!! How she managed to con a raft of savvy investors is told in a recent book titled "Bad Blood secrets and lies in Silicon Valley" available on Amazon.

Morning del...looks as though we will get the 17 results in truncated form no doubt or why bother to announce it. As W owns us he can do as he likes but I'm sure he is an honourable man and will play fair with those who stuck with Sphere. We own about 30% do we not so have a voice..... if one that counts for little. My guess we'll hear something this week.

I am just wondering if we will hear anything from the company this March as it says on their website.....Would be nice to hear how things are going...I think they have enough funds for 2 years or so...and if they want any take up this October for the Preference shares...well....sure we will see....

Is this the wk W pulls the plug?...only kidding he shudda pulled out yonks ago see (Vernalis) now looking for a buyer. He got stuck with Sphere and may not be much interested in developing Sphere commercially. He couldn't find a buyer 6-12 months ago and I doubt one will miraculously appear now. I don't know what happened when we received CE for the share price to tank from that moment on but someone dropped the ball or we never got the full story.
Given a lifeline (CE) it turned out to be the kiss of death. Wish I'd sold on the news! Logically if we couldn't make it back then?.......l hope to be surprised, proved wrong but the 'runes are telling me different.

Can anyone explain the latest company house "Confirmation Statement" from Sphere? Is it saying that Sphere have 2.16m shares in treasury? I do realise it is most unlikely to be anything significant, but I am curious.



OK, I think I understand it now. Just a rework of the shareholding cutting out one layer of a holding.

Re the vast amount of companies making blood testing machines "just google it " these companies will be doing research to improve or get a edge on their competitors, wether that's to get a quicker analysis or reduced costs for the hospitals or both it's going to be tough or near impossible to succeed and if the wafer technology or production is still not satisfactory then it's hopeless -The Owls are facing the drop , they have had seven first team players unavailable for months and those two late penalty misses for Palace looking critical !

Morning cellis ...nah outta Spo yonks ago and all my nearest and dearest out at 101. Once the pools were sold that was curtains imo...Having a shocking CH swerving all the good things one bloody winner so far in the pub comp (11pts) leader 100!
Is today the day '17 results are announced? Del what's that all about I can never access those http/34.BBC.com./bloody things!

If they can't make the wafer got the sensor, they have nothing to sell automated as well , I hope you're still not in SPO John , it's all down to getting winners st Cheltenham to save us from bankruptcy, Woodford the well known , recently not so successful punter , might be there today to see if he can turn things around in the 2m Champion Chase

I suppose they sacked the last lot at St Asaphs the 1.000.000 sensor production line achieving about 10....jeez and i thought they'd given up selling P as nobody wanted it. Well i guess they have an order for a couple of sensors so full steam ahead. Do us all a favour and consign P to the wastes of failed products history.
