Morning cc trust your well. Just been reading the NHS largesse with our money as in £640m spent on non precription medicines! No wonder they cannot afford P!
There's more... £12m pa on anti dandruff shampoos and indigestion tablets, £5m on mouth ulcer remedies....on and on it goes. Bosses are trying to find £136m to divert to front line care. Shouldn't be too difficult.
Wonder whether W will give us the 2017 AR? It's been c.4 months since Aim cancellation so don't expect anything radical to have occurred.

After the op but before the full effects of the anaesthetic had worn off , feeling around my legs and stomach for returning sensations/ normality I notice my stomach was hard , I realised when a sensation of pain returned my bladders was full to bursting , just couldn't pee , the other 5 patients in the unit had left , I called for assistance , small delays added up and compounded by the fact there was no trained nurse to fit a catheter on the ward , I was in bloody agony , delays to get scanned etc and delays for get it fitted , finally relief 1.5 litres plus spillage , I had to stop in over night and within 1 hour of getting a bed I'd pee'd . I mentioned to the surgeon the next day , I was told by a nurse the effects of a spinal are you either pee yourself or can't pee , the surgeon asked if I was thinking all such patients should have a catheter fitted as standard , I replied certain patients and probably men of a certain age either have one fitted or that someone trained to fit on was at hand one each ward on every shift , to which he didn't disagree

Op done , had a spinal anesthetc, was chatting away to the medical staff about PROXIMA, and the consensus was why fix whats not broke , citing the bench top worked ok , and in ICU's there was plenty of staff ,I was able to see recovery a stream of beds going in and out and plenty of staff , so no joy here in the UK , I mentioned the blood transfusion issue , but they didn't see it as one .

Still waiting for my op , no phone call from hospital after the weekends football and rugby casualties, so my wife suggested calling , but instead we contacted our local surgery and told the doctor my concerns , ideally it's best to reconnect the Achilles within 14 days or the cells could die , that may be fine for a younger person , so the sooner it's done the happier I feel , the doctor said she'll contact the hospital and phoned back within the hour saying Mr Chadwick will operate on Wednesday , still haven't heard from the hospital so a call to his secretary will be made today , so yes John more funding is needed and NHS patients come lower down the order than others , it's not that just a emergency turns up and you're put back by the time it takes to clear that , but you then have to be slotted into tomorrow's busy schedule and any other emergencies that come along , they of course might be overlooking the fact that I'm quickly approaching that same position !

WPCT now nearly 15% down on IPO with latest casualty Prothena hammered by short sellers and negative sentiment. Not a great time for NW but if your brave a spec buy at 84.5 might pay dividends. Not for me though I have enough exposure to WPCT as it is.

I read the supply teacher is considering paying up to the outrageous demands of the failed state of Europe. Squeezing Britain to fund hopeless cases such as Andalusia,Sardinia etc...is all they are interested in.
At a time when extra funding is required for the NHS & housebuilding to hand over 10's of billions on the off chance of talks progressing in our favour is surely madness. The UK Govt should not pay the bribes demanded by Brussels. It's time to tell them to get lost.

Three months since delisting
and in the run in to year end (last) we launched P4 and appointed a Spanish distributor. Did zilch for the stock price, the share continued its decline closing out at 9.25 by '16 close. Most of us were still bullish for P4 prospects in '17 though RLAM selling out at 5 in Feb should have alarmed holders of things to come which was not helped by a 20% fall in the share price to 5.25 on F/Y results. No doubt plans for delisting were being formed on the expected lack of enthusiasm by iis to cont supporting Sphere and as we know the rest was history. Six years since the IPO while the value of Sphere had gone up in smoke
we remaine a viable concern
and all is not lost by any means!

To be honest, I'm forgetting about SPHR medium term. A bit like that old board game 'Game of life' - one day I hope to pick up a Chance card that reads: One of the companies in which you bought shares a few years ago has suddenly been bought out by a competitor at a substantial premium - Take £75,000 and move straight to 'Go'

cellis94 - sorry to hear about your bad news - and your cancelled op. We've had various bad items of news of late across our extended family - they say it comes in threes...we've already reached that so I'm hoping that's our lot for now.

WPCT monthly review out. Nothing on Sphere so presumably Lactate has not been added or anything else of interest.. Can't say I'm surprised newsflow will be extremely limited for another 6 months.

The rudderless Govt of supply teacher May steers us ever closer to quitting Europe with no deal in sight. Forty MPs have agreed to sign a letter of no confidence in her as the EU withdrawal bill looks set for defeat. Much to my surprise the SM continues oblivious to the seriousness of our situation and when Tory MPs say we need a period in opposition you know things cannot get much worse. The confusion will be her undoing as she's a liability to the Brexit process and much else. So far the SM not factored in a collapse of the Govt or the Maybot being booted out, which will play into the hands of the EU who can stall for as long as they want knowing she will never 'walk' away from the talks and will pay a hefty divorce bill to keep a deal on the table. I'm extremely happy I have no exposure in quoted stocks at this time as any Brexit blow up or Corby Govt will tank the market. I got caught in the '87 crash...and in the Sphere crash. I'm not risking a third!
