Maybe of interest that we now have 5 MM's. I am sure it was only 4 yesterday. Fairly certain the new one is Nplus1 Singer (SING). On the bid at the moment. They wouldn't join in unless they saw volume improving, or a chance to make a turn.

Yes my notes from meeting Nabil in Sept are aligned with what harrogate says, that they were hoping for a large scale trial by Q4 of 2017, with first revenues later in 2018 if all went according to plan. I believe a large trial would need a pause in production by the Manufacturer, and am sure they are always reluctant so scarifice short term revenue, so I am sure the date of trial is far from guaranteed and not enirely in SPSY's control. However, it will be a really significant step when and if the trial happens.

bit odd behaviour. MMs all over the place. can buy 7500 at 107 from CFEP and sell 5000 at 107.15 to WINS.

A flurry of trades before that seems to have really mixed it up.

This is what they said at the interims in Sept 17 -
"In addition, based on the recent approval in China of our materials for smartphone authentication, we expect to undertake important large scale production testing and validation of the technology for use in the tobacco industry this year."

Would be good to know if that happened and how it went.

Isn't that why patient investors can make money? The key for me is Trubrand China Tobacco - it was said that it would be late 2017 so getting a little nervous about that - the rest and the almost certain dividend increase should be good.

Interesting to note that the share price is up 32% year to date (in a pretty tricky stock market, to say the least!), and up 331% since the start of Jan 17. Despite that, all I feel is a bit frustatrated that it isnt higher, annoyed at Worsley etc and impatient with the share price given the fundamentals, prospects and potential!
Hopefully the trading update in 4 weeks time will be a trigger for further advance, and that was certainly the case in March last year
Would not be surpised to see the final PBT slightly above the already revised WHI number, an excellent closing cash position, some clarity on how they might deploy it (Buybacks or increased Divi)and hopefully some positive news on the large scale tobacco trial of TruBrand.

Too many retail buyers for that to be a purchase ..so either a sell vs last few days buys or its a transfer of stock Don't worry about sellers we have risen 600pct over couple of years We will rerate on trubrand news or a big cash balance/divi hike Don't forget we have made a huge investment in aeris..no one talks about it or gives it any value at all..however many invested here cos of aeris ..it really is an impressive piece of technology and could be worth a lot of money..I wouldn't write off Nabils ability to make something of Aeris

I'm assuming that the 50k at 110p early today was a purchase.Despite a couple of late 15k sells, this increase in volume with mainly buyers in attendance gives the impression of a simmering volcano building up!

Hi Bones,I don't think there is one particular buyer.There seemed to be a few buyers on Thursday and Friday No offers much below the touch so they are a good market .Seems to be on a few radar screens now and many top ups and buyers on any fall.Next news should be good with either a trubrand contract expected or a nice increase in the divi with a v healthy cash balance .The seller seems to have disappeared ,maybe he was happy to topslice,no one knows .One thing for sure the seller has substantially less shares now but has managed to break the rules by not announcing a percentage change to the market..one rule for some no rules for others!!
