Quite bizarre we're only up 6p after a "significantly ahead" statement.

Not sure why anyone would sell after such a positive update, but each to their own I suppose.

Expect this to be far higher 6-12 months down the line.....

I wonder why Worsley are selling (if it is them!) ?Is it cos we are now see as a growth company and not a value one?Is it cos they are closing the fund down? Why is it they don't need to inform the market when they fall below a percentage point? Why can't the shop broker make a buyer..surely that's one of their roles?I've asked all these questions but an given the cold shoulder

I looked at VRS at c19p and almost pressed the button, bought more here instead. Would have been a good trade but there would have been sleepless nights! not so here, the cash, the divi, the products and the opportunity.

200p by the way was my long term target for SPSY not VRS, incase it's ambiguous! :)

Very good Fozzie :). I said something similar Tilly when VRS doubled to about 44p... personally don't see it going to 200p though

I wouldn't touch Vrs with a bargepole up here Jam tomorrow stock...no cash nonprofits and no divided ..the CEO is great and has a decent retail following but as yet is unproven Whereas here we have a huge cash pile a v decent dividend and large profits AND with good growth potential which could be parabolic Also can't compare the Cv of Nabil with that of NeillWhat I loved about the last meeting I was in with Nabil he said "If it doesn't work we will invent something else"And aeris hasn't gained any traction yet...if that did then bloody hell this is a five bagger Dyor

It may be banjo that i am in a similar position regretting the pennies before long, and I could not knock anyone for buying in the 90s.

Bones, VRS's valuation I find incredible, up hugely (again) this time because they said they'll build a new plant in China - but market sentiment is one potent tool! And that's the issue here as others have commented, until sentiment turns and the seller goes, the shares will probably limp along under 100p.

I think the 200p target is perfectly legit Tilly, not sure what my timespan would be, but it's clear (imho of course) this is a very good company that's grossly undervalued.

The seller can only be the largest holder It's not me so who else can it be? I'd say it's definitely Worsley They bought in the 20s so have done very wellNever wrong to take a profit However it's the long term where one makes proper money

Totally agree bones When I was buying aggressively at 20p off an institution(probably Blackrock) it didn't worry me that he was a larger seller than I was a buyer These guys tend to buy high and sell low so not sure why anyone would not buy just cos of an overhang Yes get a little cute but if sonofa had have for cute he would've missed a 10pct rise!!The fundamentals here are compelling and a buy in the 80s is v attractive ..not sure I will buy anymore as this is now a v large part of my portfolio

Sonofbanjosinger.

Re yield and price appreciation, the only other like this may be PLUS.
I remain invested here however. I think PLUS will struggle to keep up the pace it has had in the past. DYOR.

You only have to look at VRS now at 86p. In the summer, it was around 15p and Lombard Odier Asset Mgt was aggressively selling down its 20% stake at 14p. They sold about half before the price broke up and sold another 5%. Now they hold 5% and missed a 400% rise on the 15%!So, looking forward here to the institution to get rid. That should release the ballast.

Who is the big seller? Why don't Irelands help the seller move their stock into safer hands. Isn't that what brokers do! Cant believe after two ahead statements in 3 months and confirmation of the next 5 years earnings that we will be drifting back into the 80's again. I will buy more but tbh i would much rather we were 110+. I will hold this share all day long but it is more than a tad frustrating.

TF thanked me so not sure he did know Anyway surely better to be warned even if not true?Anyway doodle let's move onBuy some spsy in the 80s..has cash and pays chunky dividend and has incredible growth prospects The big seller around has meant we are 90p and not 110p!!

I remember being long 3m gfrm at 30p the old Howden and they fell to 13p and the two biggest holders were selling They held hundreds of millions of shares and I was distraughtHowever 11p was the low and all the brokers were saying sellNow they are 6pds(I sold at 50p : ( )Biggest sellers at the bottom ..maybe they had redemptions ,maybe this holder is closing down(undid hear that rumour)So not buying a stock cos there is a large seller isn't a great consideration

You don't have to convince me Tilly just had another small batch at 92p which takes my total to just shy of 425k, should of got another batch on Friday, at 83p but was too tight to pay the extra penny that will teach me.

Doodle Micro is a good guyHe was right about late payment and was right to bring it to our notice..I made sure TF knew about it ..better to be forewarned He's not wrong about there being a seller here and if his style is to wait for volume then fair enoughI personally would look to buy in the mid 80s and if seller still around so be it

Sonofa I don't think many have realised the growth potential for trubrand I'm not saying it's nailed on to be a success but I think it has the potential to be worth our mkt cap on its own in a few years ..Tgt 200p
